About the host
Hosted by Kelly Wang

Hi World,
I am Kelly. I grew up in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. I always enjoyed cottaging every summer for weeks at a time with my family. This led me to purchasing my own cottage. This provides me a peace of mind after working long hours in the city. I like to enjoy the cottage with my husband Barry and two dogs, Slurpee (Labradoodle) and Noodles (Sheepadoodle).
Please feel free to ask any questions and thank you for checking our cottage. :)

Why they chose this property
Barry’s Bay is a picturesque village nestled in the heart of Ontario, rich in history and culture. The streets are lined with charming wooden homes, many of which showcase traditional architectural styles. Lush greenery surrounds the area, with vibrant gardens blooming in the spring and summer.
One of the most delightful aspects of Wilno is its sense of community. The local residents are warm and welcoming, often engaging in conversations with visitors. The aroma of home-cooked meals wafts through the air, especially during community events, where you might find families gathering for potlucks or local festivals.
I particularly enjoy the blend of cultural influences here, especially the Polish heritage that is celebrated through festivals, food, and art. The lively music and colorful decorations during events create an inviting atmosphere that feels like a big family gathering. It's a place where tradition meets everyday life, making it a truly special spot to visit or live in.
