About the host
Hosted by Tatiane Dias-
We are a locally owned and operated business on the stunning East Cape of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
It had to be destiny that lead us (Shanti and Nathan) away from the big city and into the arms of a very humble campground.
Since acquiring Tatapouri in 2019 we have dreamed of transforming it into a space which could encompass all of our passions; creative expression, nature appreciation, connection, good food and community. After years of hard work and lots of fun along the way, that dream is now a reality.
We are grateful to be here, waking up to the world’s first sunrise each morning and sharing the beauty of this land with everyone.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you soon,
The Tatapouri Team

What makes this property unique
Only a quick 15-minute hop from Gisborne city center, our spot is just right – not too close, not too far. Locals dig that they don't have to trek too long to catch those island vibes. And with the best seats in the house for the world's first sunrise, we're totally hooked on this place.
