The WAinui Boardroom Chalet is a light, bright and modern unit perfect for families or for a lovely getaway. It is situated a 5 min walk to the famous WAinui Beach and surrounded by lush gardens and an avocado forest.. Enjoy your morning coffee in your private outdoor area or take a stroll to the beach and grab one from the local vegan cafe Zephr. The inground swimming pool is perfect for kids and shared by the hosts but we give you guys plenty of private time on your own too! The Wainui chalet is only a short drive to the heart of Gisborne where there are lots of local cafes and restaurants. The Gisborne region also has many stunning wineries and a tour to some of these is a must.

A perfect spot for walkers, runners and cyclists

Easy access to wainui beach, cycleways and running tracks. A great deep pool and friendly owners close by. It had everything we needed for a first time holiday to gisborne.

This is an amazing property , owners were very friendly and invited us to pick veggies freely .It's close to surfing at wainui beach and the 2 bedroom house is well equipped for any holiday stay , will be back !

Awesome place to stay

Our family had an awesome time staying here. Exceptional hosts who made us feel really welcome. Our granddaughter had heaps of fun playing with the hosts children and even braved the swimming pool despite it being nearly winter (which was very refreshing at this time of the year). We will definitely be back again, perhaps over summer when we can enjoy the pool some more!! Thanks for having us.

Unfortunately the weather spoiled our holiday however we did get 3 out of seven days sun and we’re able to use the very nice pool.It really wasn’t the usual Gisbourne weather. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

Quiet, beachy getaway

Excellent stay with super friendly hosts and a lovely atmosphere that only a happy home has. The separate poolside unit is comfy, airy and has all you need. It’s quiet even though it’s joined into the family house. Hosts do all they can to make you feel ‘at home’. We’ll be back!

A lovely unit - just right for a girls craft retreat!

This is a lovely unit, right next door to the owners house. You have your own back yard - but use of their lovely swimming pool too! Well equipped, with two single beds in one bedroom and a double in the other. And a lovely owner!
