The WAinui Boardroom Chalet is a light, bright and modern unit perfect for families or for a lovely getaway. It is situated a 5 min walk to the famous WAinui Beach and surrounded by lush gardens and an avocado forest.. Enjoy your morning coffee in your private outdoor area or take a stroll to the beach and grab one from the local vegan cafe Zephr. The inground swimming pool is perfect for kids and shared by the hosts but we give you guys plenty of private time on your own too! The Wainui chalet is only a short drive to the heart of Gisborne where there are lots of local cafes and restaurants. The Gisborne region also has many stunning wineries and a tour to some of these is a must.

Fantastic host family! Good location in a beautiful orchard/garden. Wanui Beach is a short (10 min) walk or even shorter drive. Or drive to Makorori Beach for surfing. And it’s only a few minutes’ drive into Gisborne.

This is a lovely cottage on lovely property. The host family are very friendly and accommodating. The property is near some of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We also enjoyed walking through the extensive veggie garden and orchard.

A perfect spot for walkers, runners and cyclists

Easy access to wainui beach, cycleways and running tracks. A great deep pool and friendly owners close by. It had everything we needed for a first time holiday to gisborne.

Amazing accommodation and lovely hosts

My parents and I came in for a funeral and although it wasn't the best circumstance, the accommodation made our short stay much more enjoyable. The pics don't do it justice such a neat lil place! Definitely will be coming back. Thanks Hailey.
