David was great and pretty responsive. The code didn’t work when we first arrived and David gave us the main code to get in pretty quickly. The kitchen was fully stocked with what you would need to cook. The house was clean and had additional linens and supplies.

cute house, awesome area!
House is fine, enjoyed the hot tub (the area around the house is awesome! spent some time walking the trail on the lake) the kitchen is small but well stocked, nice to have a fenced in back yard for dogs.

From the owner: We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the hot tub, the nearby lake trail, and the fenced-in yard for your dogs. It’s great to know the kitchen had what you needed as well, even with its smaller layout. We appreciate you staying with us!
Easy check in with access code. Kitchen was adequate but we ate our larger meals out. Comfortable accommodation and the contact/owner was easy to get a hold of if you needed anything.

Thank you for staying with us, we appreciate your feedback!
We needed a vrbo close by to accommodate relatives visiting and wanted more than a hotel room. The cost was actually better value than a hotel room. There was a fully functioning split ac system, a wood burning fireplace, great gas Weber grill, solid internet and tv, and...a heated toilet seat!! Nice area out back, enclosed, very private with a very clean hot tub. Would certainly stay again.
Spacious comfortable property with a nice and private back yard for socializing. Wish our friends from Portland could have joined us as originally planned. Host was readily available and responsive to our needs. Gave great suggestions for things to do in the area. Would give 6 out of 5 if possible.

Home away from home
This was our second time at David’s lovely home. My fiancé, dog, and I rented this time for an extended stay while we figured out where in Washington we wanted to settle down (we just moved from CA). He accommodated our requests, was communicative and helpful throughout the stay, and it was so nice having a “home” to feel comfortable in as we were in between places. I highly recommend David’s Sammamish home for visits short and long!

From the Owner: "Hi Kathleen, thank you for one more kind review! I spent a couple of days in the place last weekend - first time since November! - So I got a chance to work on some things that were looking a little worn and went through the cabinets, etc. Always kind of amazing to find the things left there - even some dishes - that someone else must have left. I appreciate that you were comfortable there - good luck in the new place!"
The house was well located, near lake Sammamish. There was plenty of gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We went to one dog park, which was very nice. My favorite was the deer in the front yard! I got a good picture of the 2 deer. I needed to be in Renton Monday and was grateful this house was within 30 minutes of Renton.
My husband and I traveled with our son to the Seattle area for soccer ECNL National Playoffs. This house offered us a quiet place to unwind after games but still close enough to sightsee the downtown Seattle area. With our game schedule we didn’t have much time to do a lot, but we did the hot spots downtown. Unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the lake but enjoyed the view driving back and forth to the fields. Owner was quick to respond, left a binder full of nearby stores and restaurants, and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would certainly stay here again if we traveled to that area!

Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate that you were comfortable during your trip and hope you will get a chance to come back either for a full run in the playoffs or a more relaxed visit to see what missed this time around!
The house is clean and well appointed but dated. Theoretically it sleeps 8 but the futon and couches are not comfortable. The location was good for our needs. We were visiting family and just needed some place close by for sleeping. Like all vacation rentals it is over priced. We did have an issue that came up. There is a gravel area that is designated for parking. Unfortunately there was a spot where the gravel was loose and the ground very soft. Our car got stuck and we had to call a tow truck. It took several hours of our morning and was expensive. Management was dismissive. If you stay there, I would recommend that you only park on the driveway because I doubt they will fix it.

From the owner: “We’re glad the home met your needs for cleanliness, location, and space. We did want to clarify that the parking concern mentioned was not related to the driveway itself, which is safe and has been used by many guests without issue. This was a unique situation that occurred because of how the vehicle was parked, not the condition of the property. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can assist right away. Many visitors enjoy the home’s comfort, location, and amenities, and we remain committed to providing a safe and welcoming stay.”
