Traveling can be uneasy. It’s hard to be away from home wondering if you will get any sleep. Thankfully, this beautifully situated little cabin was just right. We were comfortable and we slept good. It was just me and my husband. We only slept, showered and made coffee, but it was just what we needed as we spent Christmas with family and spent our time with them. We cared for it as if was our own while we stayed there. Thank you for making your home available to us. Darla
The location was wonderful and private! Beautiful yard. There were ongoing issues with the downstairs toilet, but comunication with the owner was great. We just chose to stop using the downstairs toilet. The porches were great but I could see the cabin being a little squishy if the weather hadn't been great. Overall, we would stay here again, but with fewer people!
It was very nice accommodations. The cabin and property were it very good shape. The only issue we found with the cleaniness was the oven on the stove needed to be cleaned. That was disappointing when we wanted to use it.
Property was great
Communications were confusing
Who is Evolve? Do they now own Vrbo or vice versa?

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the property!I apologize for any confusion regarding communication. To clarify, Evolve is the property management company I partner with to help manage reservations across multiple platforms, including Airbnb and Vrbo. They assist with guest communications and ensure everything runs smoothly.Regarding your mention of the host fees exceeding the rental amount, I’d love to better understand what you saw. Transparency is important to us, and I want to make sure there’s no misunderstanding or issue. If you can provide more details, I’ll gladly look into it and address any concerns.Thank you again for your input—we appreciate it and hope to host you again in the future!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Lots of beds, only 1 1/2 bath
The house was is in a great location. Our biggest complaint was that the listing said two bathrooms and there is only 1 1/2. Further, the 1/2 bath in the basement is very noisy as it uses some special pump. The house has plenty of bedrooms, a nice big yard and the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/etc.
Our stay at this Vermont cabin was fantastic! The property offers a peaceful, secluded setting surrounded by beautiful trees, which made for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The fire pit was a highlight for us, and we enjoyed sitting around it every night.
The location is also excellent, just a short drive to Littleton, New Hampshire—a must-visit if you’re staying here. The cabin has one full bathroom and a half bathroom in the basement, which worked perfectly for us.
On our first night, we experienced an issue with the water pump due to an electrical problem. Unfortunately, since it was a Sunday night, it couldn't be resolved right away. However, the owners, Jimmy and Lindsey, were extremely responsive and helpful. They arranged a hotel for us that night and had the issue fixed the very next day while we were out exploring. They also provided a partial refund for the inconvenience, which we really appreciated.
In the end, the minor hiccup didn’t affect our enjoyment of the trip, thanks to how well the owners handled the situation. Sometimes things happen, but their quick response and hospitality made all the difference. We highly recommend this cabin, knowing that if anything goes wrong, Jimmy and Lindsey will take great care of you!
The photos make the cabin look larger than it is. We were not comfortable having the whole family there at one time but we had a nice stay with the exception f a couple of pretty major items:One: The key pad froze when we arrived so we had to immediately call the host. They picked up but said they had poor service after telling us where the lock box was located. The person was friendly enough but asked us to text if we needed anything as opposed to calling. Two: The photos made the place look very large but when we got there we were surprised at the size. Still cozy but we’d planned to gather for Christmas and there wasn’t enough living space. Probably much better for summer rental which would allow guests to make use of impressive outdoor space. Three: The toilet pump is very loud. I thought there was an issue downstairs because it sounds like something is very wrong when flushing and flushing at night wakes everyone up! I texted Scott this and got ‘there’s nothing wrong with the toilets”. Four: Heavy snow on 12/23 was great but by midday there was no plow. In the toilet text I asked about a plow and as of 2pm when my son-in-law came to hand plow us out- no plow on sight. Xmas day someone came and plowed the door yard. Five: My daughter’s bank account was hacked. The WiFi information at the cabin doesn’t work. There’s a Starkink access so we used that. Unfortunately that looks to be when the fraud occurred because on her bank statement it says “West Danville” IP.
