Loved the house. Loved the location. We had a quiet stay of relaxing, fishing and swimming off the dock. Amazing sunsets over the mountains, exactly what we were looking for. Our least favorite part was leaving.
Great location. 30 minutes to Lake George. Ten minute drive and boat ride to Magic Mountain Marina. House dock is able to accommodate a 24ft. pontoon boat. Caution must be taken when descending staircase to dock. Fishing was great, caught lots of bass.
My family and I enjoyed our week at this house. We loved the log cabin feel. We liked that the owner met us at the house to greet us and to bid us good-bye at the end of our stay. She solicited any suggestions we had to offer and we did provide our thoughts. We’d recommend this house. It was more than ample for 8 people.
Beautiful setting, huge lawn down to the dock. The house has plenty of room to spread out in, and the back deck is a great place to sit in the morning with coffee or evening with a cold drink.
Veronica made it simple to check in and out.
Other members of my family have stayed here in the past and we probably will again in the future.

Beautiful lakeside retreat
We loved the house and setting on Lake Sacandaga. It was a peaceful setting in a beautiful home with a nice dock to swim from.
We rented a boat for a couple days which was a great way to see and enjoy the lake with our family and friends.
The large home was perfect for having our friends and family come to visit while we were at the lake. We were able to grill out and have drinks on the deck and play board games in the living room.
Based on our experience, I'd highly recommend this house to families looking to get away to the mountains for a quiet vacation.

We had a truly wonderful, relaxing time, just what we hoped.
Nice well made cabin/house. Sleeps 8. We had 6 and that was perfect. Had everything we needed and a nice set of necessities there to get us started which was really nice. There really is little to no cell reception so you need to be prepared for that. But we loved that aspect, as we wanted family time. Great fun things to do nearby, hiking, etc.
I, along with friends and family, enjoyed a 2-week getaway at this location. We kayaked, we fished, we sat by the fire. The whole feel, including the sunsets and the stars, was great.
The area is residential and it is a 10 min drive to town. For me/us - that was perfect, but this is not a place to stay if you want to 'walk to town'.
I enjoyed nearby golf, and it is a easy trip up to Lake George or down to Saratoga if you want a change of pace and 'some action'.
All in all - a very restful vacation in a great spot. Highly recommend!
Great location on the Great Sacandaga Reservoir. Nice views of the lake. Well stocked with supplies and games. Owner provided firewood and fixin's for s'mores.
Was a little surprised that the prohibition against trailers included empty watercraft trailers, but Veronica graciously allowed us to store our trailers at her nearby property.
Verizon cell phone service was weak, but usable; however, there wasn't any AT&T service. Internet wifi was good within the house.
We would stay again if we return to the area in the future.

Thank you Tim for your wonderful review. Unfortunately, we have experienced property damage from trailers and have no way of determining what owners are responsible with trailers. I'm always happy to be of assistance to make your time here as enjoyable as possible.

Amazing house, amazing sunset, great customer service
The house is spotless with everything a family needs to relax and enjoy. We really appreciate the little things they did to get it ready for our stay The owners have thought of everything to make it a home away from home. The lady taking care of the house and the Realitor where both 4 stars professionals always very helpful and responsive. The location is easy to get to 30 mins from Saratoga. Amazing sunsets to watch from an amazing deck-- the entire log house is top shelf in fact. The only downside is there really is no beach, and not so easy to get to their wonderful boat dock. If a beach is no big deal you should grab a week here and enjoy like we did.

We thank you for your stay and are pleased that you had a pleasant stay on the Sacandaga.
With regards to the beach/dock comment, the lake is very high this year due to the amount of rain they have had in the lower Hudson valley. As a result, the HRBRRD has held back water behind the dam, resulting in levels 5-7 feet higher than usual. The result of this action is that the area of sandy beach at the usual waterline is now 5 feet underwater. Additionally, the dock ramp has been on this area in the past. The restrictions against fixed structures limits anything but a floating dock.
Ragardless, steps have been taken to correct future variations in water level created by the HRBRRD. We apologize that these issues could not be forseen, but actions have been taken to accommodate higher than anticipated or customary in the future.
Thank you for the constructive feedback.

Great lake retreat!
The setting on Great Sacandaga Lake is beautiful - very peaceful! The house is lovely. The kitchen was well-appointed, and we had everything needed to cook for 8 people for the week. Our one complaint is that there isn't seating in the living room or dining room for the 8 people that the house sleeps. In addition, the outdoor furniture could really use a huge facelift - the view is gorgeous, and it was wonderful to be on the wrap-around deck...but the furniture left a lot to be desired. It was great having the use of the two kayaks. The nearest grocery store is 15-20 minutes away, and Lake George and Saratoga Springs are 30-40 minutes away. It was nice that the house provided ample room for a large party, which included adults and kids ages 4-21.

Relaxing stay in a gorgeous log home
We were excited to be the first to stay in this well appointed and very clean log home. Plenty of room to spread out. Being lakefront was a real treat. The wraparound deck gives extra room to spend in the outdoors. We enjoyed every sunset. From the deck we saw a bald eagle, blue heron, chipmunks, red & gray squirrels, ducks and even though I never saw them, we heard loons in the evening and early morning. Carol made the rental process a breeze. Veronica was very accommodating and both were available for any questions. This home is located in a very quiet and relaxing area on the lake. The charming town of Corinth is close enough for any forgotten supplies. The Village at Lake George is close for dining out and shopping. We would not hesitate to come back again. I can only imagine how beautiful the area would be in the fall. Thank you for opening your home to us. We had a wonderful vacation.

The vacation was truly relaxing and comfortable. The house was perfect, water easily accessible and decks expansive! I thought I was a beach person, but the lake experience @ the house has changed my perspective!
We had a wonderful two week stay at this property. Pictures are accurate. Site is beautiful. House is comfortable. Has everything needed. Lake is large. Also, close to Corinth and perfect location between Lake George, Glen Falls and Saratoga. Highly recommend this home and location. Thank you to Veronica!
We had a great time!! The home is beautiful the surrounding are is picturesque. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The dock and direct lake access from the home was perfect.
We had a fantastic time at the Corinth property. The house is perfectly situated on the bank of the Great Sac. There was a little beach area for the little one to splash around in and play in the sand/rocks. We enjoyed quiet nights around the fire pits. Although I personally enjoy the ability to disconnect (I don't mind there is limited cell phone service) having the wifi helped to stay in communication with loved ones back home. Everything was awesome. We will definitely be back.
We loved this property and enjoyed the lakefront location. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only half an hour to Saratoga Springs or Lake George Village. The unit was well stocked with all necessary items. There were 6 of us and the only drawback was a lack of seating and end tables in the great room for family gatherings, but otherwise the furnishings and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the dock area and swam right from the small beach area. Floats and water toys were provided. Sunsets by the fire pit were awesome, and Sacandaga Lake was beautiful. We would certainly return again to this great log cabin on the lake!

Excellent house!
The house and surrounding area were simply wonderful. The views of the lake and mountains were amazing and watching the 4th of July fireworks from the huge deck and dock was a mesmerizing experience. We had 6 adults and 1 toddler in our group and the house accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for making great family meals, which made venturing out of the house practically unnecessary. Swimming off the dock with our toddler, fishing from the provided kayaks, sitting by the fire pit at night and playing board games in the warm, inviting family/living room with cathedral ceilings made for some excellent memories. Veronica was extremely responsive and addressed all of our questions/requests immediately. We are definitely planning to visit again.

Perfect getaway
If you can do without the golden arches, this is the place! We have grown children in the New York/Connecticut areas, and wanted a place close enough that all could visit while also providing for the quiet and natural beauty a relatively remote location can bring. The large deck provided for spectacular views of the lake, perfect for enjoying that first cup of coffee in the morning and hosting a family meal in the evening. The house itself was roomy and well maintained, and accommodated six comfortably.
This rental is exactly as portrayed on the website. It is beautifully built, furnished and maintained by people who really care about their property and their guest's experiences. Representatives of the owner were always available for questions and entirely professional in their dealings with us, also providing local advice as to restaurants and activities, which further enhanced our stay. The week we spent here was relaxing from the minute we walked in the door, and right up until we left. We hope to visit again!

Awesome House!
This house had everything we needed and then some. A beautiful area and great way to disconnect. The house was clean and well equipped. The views from the deck were amazing! Nights around the fire were beautiful and memorable. A perfect rental property that we would definitely visit again. Oh and by the way, the best restaurant in the area is Upriver Cafe in Lake Luzerne!
