Was in convenient location for us. Loved the perks of the sauna. Very much enjoyed it. Our son had so much fun playing with their boys, which made it even more of a perfect place for us! Hope to be back next time we are in the city. Thanks so much Courtney and Matt for such a great stay!
The property was very clean and the host did a great job in providing items which came very handy and useful. The hosts also very very helpful and friendly, The area is very nice and close to Deep Cove. Highly recommend this property
We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was great and very helpful and easy to communicate with. The rooms were spacious, beds and couch were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Beautiful area, and great location for our family.
The home was very clean, all essentials were provided. The home owners had great communication. The location was a short distance to the ocean. We would recommend and would love to stay here again.
Very clean apartment in an upscale residential area, equipped with everything we needed. We felt very comfortable. We would especially like to thank Courtney and Matt for their friendly support. We can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment.
We had a great time staying at this property. Courtney is a wonderful host - it was very easy to communicate with her and she is very welcoming. The suite was very clean and we had ample space for our family (two adults and one child). Both beds are super comfortable and the living room is inviting and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. The area is absolutely beautiful and so conveniently close to everything. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for comfortable and convenient accommodation in North Vancouver!
The Ideal place for relaxation and connection with nature! Accommodation and communication with owners were excellent. The apartment is new and fully equipped.

Nice but Misleading
Clean and comfy stay, however it lacked privacy from the rest of the property. The sound carries significantly from upstairs and the other half of the home’s personal basement directly beside the suite. So there was very little sound barrier between the suite and the home with children

Hi Shianna, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that parts of your stay didn’t meet your expectations. During your visit, I had messaged you to share we were hosting a family gathering for our son’s 5th birthday and an extended family brunch Easter weekend, which I did communicate to you. We made every effort to keep things quiet in the evenings, and all activities ended by 8pm. From what we understood, you were out for much of the day.
Our listing also notes that we are a family home with young children, and guests may occasionally hear typical family sounds. We work hard to maintain a clean, comfortable space — which you kindly mentioned — and always aim to set clear expectations. We hope this helps future guests better understand the context of your stay.

Lovely place
Lovely decor, all brand new and modern, tasteful. Very well equipped. Comfy bed. Super nice place. Everything had been thought of.
Was further than I thought from Deep Cove… a 20 min walk.
Is a basement apartment so not much light, just a little from narrow windows.
Overall a nice place to stay for a few nights. Quite close to shops the other direction from Deep Cove so could walk and have a meal, glass of wine.
Nice neighbourhood. Felt very safe.

Thank you so much for staying at our Deep Cove sanctuary Laura! We are really grateful for the review. We will be sure to change the walking distance up to 20 minutes, and we hope you come back again!
We stayed in a lovely location near Deep Cove in a very quiet neighborhood, which we really enjoyed. The suite was nicely decorated, well appointed, and very clean. The hosts were friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. There are a few areas that could be improved. The entrance could be tidier, and the path to the suite required us to pull our luggage across the lawn. Some features felt unfinished, like towel racks that were coming loose and very tight room spaces with non-functional closets and no real room for luggage. Also, while the area is peaceful, the suite itself isn’t very soundproof.Overall, a comfortable and charming place with a few things to be aware of.

This should be listed as a “basement apartment”. Very noisy at all hours of the night- one of the beds had makeup on the pillow case and hair in the bed. So did laundry- also a basket of blankets in living room all smelled musty and like the yoga mat that was in the basket- so more laundry. I didn’t see a sauna or a cold plunge. There were NO directions for our stay, had to ask for WiFi password, no how to-trash disposal or leaving directions. Every other Vrbo has a welcome book with directions. We really didn’t sleep any of the days. Owner party first night, kids apparently left with a sitter second night, never quiet before midnight and noise started about 3am. It was also very odd climate wise- one bedroom had a floor radiator so it would get hot and the other bedroom did not - the living room was cold. The doors are all pocket doors so very loud. Shower handle was funky and never got truly hot water. It rained and snowed and there was no floor mat. You walk up a steep drive way and then drag you your suitcase across a cute rock and paver path across the front of the house. Thru a gate, down some steep narrow stairs. It was also a little creepy there was a door next to the entrance- and when you entered there was another door so I assume you could go between basement areas. It is one of the few rentals in the area but think we will stay at hotel next time. Need less yelling at children, wrestling children, barking dog and better climate control.

Thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate hearing from guests and take cleanliness and guest comfort very seriously.
For clarity for future guests, the listing is clearly described as a basement suite attached to our family home, which is reflected in both the title and description. We also note in the listing that we have young children in the home, so occasional household noise may be heard.
Regarding the evening of your arrival, we had mentioned in advance that it was my husband’s birthday and that we would briefly have a few friends over before heading to a nearby restaurant. Our guests left early in the evening and our household is typically quiet by around 9 PM as our children are ages five and eight.
The sauna and cold plunge are located just around the corner from the suite entrance and are available for guest use. Our welcome guide with WiFi details and house information is normally placed in the kitchen area, if it was misplaced, we are always happy to provide any information immediately if guests reach out during their stay, along with print a new one immediately.
Our home is professionally cleaned between every stay, and if anything had been missed we would have been happy to address it right away had we been notified during the visit.
In terms of temperature, the suite has individual heaters in the bedrooms and living space so guests can adjust comfort levels as needed. The home also has a full hot water system and the shower temperature is adjustable through the handle, though we are always happy to assist if anything needs clarification during a stay.
We are grateful that the vast majority of our guests have had wonderful experiences in the suite and have left many five star reviews over the years. We always do our best to create a comfortable stay while being transparent that this is a family home environment.
Thank you again for staying with us.
Nice location on a quiet street. Easy access to Deep Cove and Cate’s Park. Well equipped kitchen. Dining table is a little small but functions well. Comfortable beds. Host was able to offer a Pack n Play plus claw (for dining table) for our grandson. Good communication with rapid response. Laundry facilities are in the unit.
