Absolutely wonderful weekend in this historic home! The house, the kind owner, the views, the sunsets... We can't recommend it enough. Also, the Vineyard restaurant was excellent. We will for sure be back and will recommend to friends and family. The only sad part was having to leave.
The house was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed and was comfortable. The hot tub and fenced in patio was wonderful. It was great to be able to walk next door to the restaurant for dinner.
We really enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed by Peggy, the owner. I recommend staying at this home. It is in a good location that allows for easy travel to places close to Cincinnati, Ohio. The home was clean with all the updates, you will want to stay and make it your own home.
Thanks for the nice stay!
House was beautiful. It was an old farmhouse that had been updated. Had personality and ambiance. My only wish is it had an upstairs bathroom. There were 2 downstairs but it was a lot to go down the stairs during the night. The vineyard had a restaurant at the bottom of driveway that had excellent food. Really enjoyed our stay.
Four of our family met at this home, from OR, IA and PA. It was a truly wonderful place to spend a few days together, in between visits to the Creation Museum and Noah's Ark. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the house is a remarkable piece of history! We were so impressed with all of the work that went into restoring this home, which was so well cared for an inviting. It was fun to cook in the big kitchen. We would absolutely stay there again if we had the opportunity!
The spiral staircase was a bit much if you have trouble with stairs, I do not suggest this listing there are also no TVs in the bedrooms with only one TV in the entire house so that was disappointing. The vents in the bedrooms upstairs were both closed so it was 80 come bedtime so if you stay, please check your vents at check-in.

Girls Trip at the Historic House at Verona Winery
We had the most incredible girls trip staying at this beautiful historic house on the winery property. The house itself was absolutely spectacular—every room had charm, character, and comfort, with thoughtful details that made us feel like we stepped into a storybook. The setting was serene, with stunning vineyard views that made mornings magical and evenings unforgettable. The food and wine? Outstanding. Every bite and sip was memorable, from the expertly prepared meals to the curated tastings that highlighted the best of the region. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal and luxurious. If you're looking for a relaxing, high-end getaway with your favorite people, this is the place. We’re already talking about when we can come back! This place will be a repeat visit.

Heavenly escape!
My husband and I were going to a Bengals game in Cincinnati but didn't want to stay in the city. We are beyond thankful to have found this place. The property is breath taking and the hosts have done an outstanding job at restoring and preparing this home as a vacation rental. Everything you could need was avaliable. It was seriously hard to leave this place! The hot tub was a huge bonus as well. The owners operate a vineyard on the property and a bar/restaurant. It was a short walk across the property to the restaurant for good food, good drinks and live music. All were fantastic as was the service. We did meet the hosts and they were very nice, accommodating and helpful. 100% hope to stay here again. Don't hesitate!!!! Rent this property.... you won't regret it. We stayed 5days and 4 nights for reference. A little more than 20 min drive to Cincinnati and about the same to The Ark Encounter for us.
