We came for a friend's birthday. The house was perfect. The constant beeping of the mouse deterrent was the only negative

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the house for your friend's birthday. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the mouse deterrent and will address this issue promptly.
The pictures don’t do this house or the views any justice! It is GORGEOUS! There were a few things we weren’t thrilled about. Although we were told in advance, the pool only heats up to 80 degrees. This is cold! Especially end of May, which is when we were there, it was too cold. The WiFi in the house cuts out constantly. This is frustrating but not a deal breaker for us. The cleanliness of the house was three out of 5 stars. There was dried pasta on the carpet in the living room. The stove top had crumbs and oil all over it. The inside of the kitchen sinks had food stuck to it and was not properly scrubbed down. Every toilet had rings around the inside of them. Overall we had a really nice stay, the house is beautiful and well equipped with cooking utensils, towels, shower amenities etc.

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’re really glad you loved the gorgeous home and views, and that you found the place well equipped for your stay. We’re sorry some details fell short, especially the pool temperature, Wi‑Fi reliability, and the cleanliness issues you mentioned; we’re taking that seriously and will continue working to improve. We appreciate you pointing it out, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back for an even smoother experience.
The house was amazing. The living area had large windows so you could see the amazing views and the views are stunning. We didn’t get to use the pool. Because it was COLD. It was solar heated but we never saw much sun. We did however use the hot tub a lot. It may have been when we went ( early June) but we felt like we were living in the clouds because the fog was always so thick. The auto messages sent by RedAwning were a little confusing and redundant but they always answered my questions. The beds were comfy and it was clean. It is a gated community about 1 hour from San Diego. We would definitely rent again

Thank you for your feedback. We're delighted you enjoyed the house and its stunning views. We're sorry to hear about the pool temperature but glad the hot tub was a hit. Your concerns about the auto messages are noted, and we appreciate your understanding. We hope to welcome you back soon!
Absolutely amazing views from all angles. Wonderful interior aesthetics too and kitchen was well stocked for the times when the family wanted to stay in and cook. Overall wonderful place to catch up with family/friends without distractions.
Only peculiar thing was not being able to connect to the pool system app even after connecting to the wifi. Since swimming was such a large daily part of our R&R, it would have been better if the vrbo managers allowed guests to turn on the pool heating system at our convenience, especially since we were already charged separately for the service; but they do control this one function and only kick it on twice per day, once in the morning and once in afternoon.
My suggestion would be to charge a little more for the heating, but let the guests choose how/when they want to heat it for swimming, or control all of it yourself, but don’t charge extra for it (sets better expectations).
Otherwise, wonderful experience.

House with a view
Overall, this house was all that we expected. Beautiful views that would steal your breath away, remote getaway to relax and to forget all of your everyday stresses and HUGE with windows everywhere. Gorgeous! That said, we were less than impressed with the communications between the property management company and me.
Pool was supposed to be heated to 84degs everyday but after further digging, the heater was only turned on early in the mornings and for only a few hours a day so by the time we wanted to use the pool (mid afternoon), it was already cooled down again and was unusable. Very disappointing since the pool was one of the main features that we wanted to take advantage of. Didn't happen! It would have also been nice to have been informed that the lawn and pool maintenance people were coming to the property. With all of the windows in this exquisite house, it was a shock to see these people in the back yard while getting out of the shower. Suprise! Besides that, we really enjoyed our stay. Jeff and Susan
My friends and I chose to do a relaxing trip in San Diego for a week but wanted to be outside of the city but not to far either. This location in Ramona was just what we were looking for! The drive from the airport seemed effortless and such a scenic drive. Now let's talk about this house, first of all it was very clean and smelled great! From the moment we walked in we knew we had picked the right place. It had a spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen. Not to mention the view you get through the entire house was absolutely breathtaking. The windows are huge and tall, the ceiling was high and just so much room to move around. The pool is just as you see in the pictures but in my opinion much better in person. Every morning I picked my favorite chair and drank my coffee with the view of the mountain side and valley. The hot tub offers a great view especially at night under the stars and a hint of the city in a distance. The rooms were all very roomy, spacious and very clean. One thing I personally enjoyed about this place is that it wasn't over decorated or over themed. It was very simple and more left an impression for a clear mind and I truly appreciated that. There was plenty of room for our group of seven and we never felt like we were too close to one another. The kitchen is huge equipped with everything you need. The host replied to all my questions quick and respectful. The directions to the home were simple as were all the home instructions.
