When you stay at Sweet Fern, it is obvious that the host thought ahead of the main amenities as well as small details to make for a very comfortable, relaxing stay. The kayaks enabled us to explore George's pond and watch the loon family who nested nearby, visit "diving board rock", and take in the breath-taking view of the mountains. After a day on the pond, we relaxed by a campfire. The kitchen had everything we needed with regard to pans, dishes, and utensils to prepare meals. The gas grill was extremely convenient. The coffee bar, hand soaps, hand-made afghans on the beds, chargers in the bedroom were small details that were noticed and appreciated.
