About the host
Hosted by Edith Dunham

My family has spent summers in Seal Harbor for 5 generations. My daughters and I have spent many winters here as well, enjoying Mount Desert Island in all weather. I love to share the beauty and magic of Seal Harbor, and I hope you have a great experience!
Why they chose this property
After selling the house I grew up in here, I bought this house from my cousins who were moving into assisted living. I love the feeling of the woods off of the deck and the quiet street. I am improving the house constantly, trying to upgrade the furniture, upholstery, and rugs. I have bought all new mattresses for the beds, new couches, a dining room table as well as the deck furniture.
What makes this property unique
Every direction you walk in from my house brings you somewhere beautiful. You can walk to the beach and the village green any time of day, or walk up the hill towards the Jordan Pond house and the carriage roads, or walk up Mackenzie Rd. to the Dunham School and the small playground.
