About this property

A spacious 4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom property with completely open living room-dining room and kitchen living. The main floor houses the open concept living quarters with 2 large double sliding doors opening to a huge deck overlooking the mountains and spacious grounds. There is an ample, comfy living room area with two large couches with lounges to host your larger family. Off the dining room boasts a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully-equipped with anything your cooking needs should require. There is also a breakfast island that seats four and a formal area dining that seats eight. The gathering lower level houses a heat pump for heating and cooling needs. The upper level bedrooms have window a/c units in two of the queen bedrooms only, as well as ceiling fans, as it tends to be cooler in the evenings on the coast.

The upper level is home to the four bedrooms.
Three of the bedrooms offer very comfortable and spacious queen beds. The fourth bedroom houses three twin beds, most appropriate for child aged individuals.

The property will accommodate 6 ADULTS maximum with a total of 8 if children are included. The second bathroom with a shower is also on the second level.

Wake up to incredible mountain views from your bed. This lovely property sits on a small side street off of a 25 mile an hour quiet residential road and tiny village.

PLEASE NOTE: We are "dog friendly" but you must inquire about your pet/pets prior to booking~ no exceptions. We have a maximum of 2 dogs allowed and there is a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per stay. Please note that your fur babies are not allowed on any furniture or bedding.

We are located in the quaint village of Hall Quarry~We are approximately 2 miles away from Echo Lake Beach and many of our favorite hiking and biking trails that Acadia has to offer.

The down-town area of Bar Harbor is approximately 10 minutes away. The Quiet side as its known (SW Harbor) is located within a few minutes and includes a grocery store.

Clean house, great neighborhood

For a second year, we stayed at this property for a long weekend vacation. The house was clean and has most of what we needed. Lots of space, good bedding, great view on the mountains nearby. Be aware that a pet fee will be charged afterward if Vrbo doesn't add it automatically at the time of booking. Overall a good experience.

Perfect stay

Very spacious and cozy house with an open concept. Perfect for my wife and I and our pups. The house is on a VERY quiet road with very little foot and vehicle traffic. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances/other cookware needed for our Thanksgiving. The bed was super comfortable. Erica was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Bar harbor was 15-20 minutes away and pretty much a straight shot. Highly recommend!

Great place for families and friends

Amazing Mountain views was a great place to stay. The home was clean, had current furnishings and was stocked well with towels, etc. The kitchen was stocked well also. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Location was great for Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Host was easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this home!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Erica's Mountain View home in Mt. Desert. The location was great - close to everything Acadia that we wanted to visit, close to Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor and to a great coffee shop (Milagros) and the IGA Foodmart so we didn't always need to run into BH to Hannafords. The house was updated, clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The upstairs was a bit warmer than we would've liked but the AC units worked hard as did the fans to cool the rooms down. It wasn't a big deal for us. The yard was great for our boys to play outside and we all enjoyed the fire pit and fire wood stand at the street corner was convenient. The hosts were very responsive the few times I messaged them and live nearby which was great. Overall, we liked the area and really liked the house and would consider staying again!

Great Place to Stay

The house was a great location and not too far from all the locations and attractions of Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor. The house itself was very clean and cozy with plenty of space. Some of the heating/cooling was hard to work with and figure out but overall place was great. It does get a really dark outside without the lights so if you go out and will be coming in at night, leave one of the outdoor lights on. Balcony was a great site to sit and eat or just spend time with family. The Fire Pit is great to make s'mores at night.
