Excellent place to stay nice and peaceful

Nice to be in a tranquil place with only nature to surround us. The dog loved being there as there was no other dogs around and she could be herself. Over the due time that we had stayed there, we throughly enjoyed it.

Glotious weather (swimmung in June) with our grandchildren thoroughly enjoying a few blissful no-screen time days.

Peaceful spot and a true Kiwi bach experience. Loved the long Beach walks and the spit is great for birdwatching. If you need supplies or a coffee fix, Opotiki is 10 mins drive away. Try Kafe Friends, 30 King Street, for excellent coffee and Bridge St Cafe & Grill, 77 Bridge St, for the best date scones! Also Ocean Seafood, 88 Church Street, for excellent fish and chips. Peter is easy to communicate with and we were grateful that he and his family share this little gem. Thank you Peter.

The house has been renovated to a high standard with fantastic bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Everything was spotless and nice little touches like magazines, brochures on things to do and the smart tv all added to the very enjoyable stay, I would definitely stay again.

A nice modern, quiet home with native bush at the rear and a great sea view that was constantly changing.
