The beautifully restored stone country house is located in Chianti half-way between Florence and Siena. Shortly after exiting the Superstrada, you will find this quiet, tranquil and private spot. And yet, it is at 5 minutes by car to the charming village of San Donato in Poggio where you will find a deli, coffee bar, butcher shop, pharmacy, bancomat, restaurants and other shops.

ACCOMODATION: the property has 400 square meters of living area. Some of the bedrooms have their own private entrances, but all are connected by interior stairways. The kitchen and living-dining rooms are centrally located on the ground floor with easy access to outdoor dining and pool area. The house is comfortably furnished with many Tuscan antiques, befitting the style of the house. Desk, printer & free WI-FI internet connection and laundry room with washer, dryer and iron are available. There is air conditioning in all bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room.

Upper floor: the Margherita bedroom is an airy room featuring a queen bed, fireplace, countryside views, as well as a large, ensuite bath with clawfoot tub & separate shower. The Gelsomino bedroom with views of the countryside has a queen bed (or two twins) and a single bed/ottoman. Directly across the hall is a bath with double vanity, walk-in shower and dressing table. The Ginestra bedroom features a queen bed (or two twins) with a sweeping view of the countryside and a bath with double sink, tub & separate shower.

Ground floor: the Rosa Canina bedroom features a queen bed (or two twins), glass doors that look out to a peaceful view of the grassy fields, and a bath with shower over tub.

Lower level: the Papavero bedroom is spacious and opens directly into the garden and pool area. It has a queen bed, sofa bed, walk-in closet and ensuite bath with clawfoot tub & separate shower.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL: You can relax and settle into a different rhythm here under the wisteria-covered pergola or on the covered loggia or by the beautiful swimming pool (7 x 14 meters) which is surrounded by flower-filled antique orci. Or take a hike in the woods or to a near-by winery.
