You will find this Provencal farmhouse between vines and holm oak forests, at the end of a small road, 3 km away from the village of Lussan. This is a peaceful heaven at the gates of one of the most beautiful French villages. The favoured location, at the border between Gard, Ardèche and Cévennes, offers an infinite range of activities and discoveries. You will come back!
This former sheepfold is located 19 km from Uzès, 45 km from Nîmes, 55 km from Avignon. It offers quality services, a 2000 sq.m garden, a beautiful heated pool and spa, a petanque court, and a badminton court. This is a very charming tastefully restored sheepfold, surrounded by nature, peaceful and shaded by trees. This place is ideal for holidays with your friends or family. The configuration of the sheepfold (130 sq.m) is perfectly suited. Walk through the paths in the garrigue. It is close to the Cèze valley, the Roman prestigious Pont du Gard, Uzès, Orange, Avignon, Nîmes, etc. The Camargue and the sea are 1h15 away by car. This small paradise is ideally located if you want to visit Uzès, the Provence, the Cévennes and the Camargue, or just rejuvenate in the peaceful garden with swimming pool. You will find a quality environment, without noise, private access, in a quiet 8-house hamlet in the countryside. Canoes and horseback riding are available 300 m away.
We leave at your disposal the necessary documents concerning the local sites and activities.
With exposed stones and antique materials, the warm decoration combines the beauty of ancient architecture and the modern comfort of the furniture, the equipment (satellite TV, Internet access), the kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, etc.), and the bathrooms (2 WC, 2 sinks and walk-in shower.).
We welcome you weekly, provide you sheets and bathroom linen (optional), make the beds as you want it (single beds can be put together to form a king-size bed.).
As it is very pleasant to live in, even during winter time, the house is rented all year long. The tree bedrooms can accommodate 6 to 8 people.

The Joys of France

We enjoyed a fabulous holiday in this house near Lussan. We particularly enjoyed the pool and surroundings. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the barbeque was excellent. The nearby Lussan was lovely and we enjoyed good food in Le Bistrot. We made good use of the boules court and had a great family tournament, Overall I would rate this property as one of the most enjoyable that we have rented over the years and hopefully we will be able to return.

Peaceful and Stylish Retreat

Everything about it was beautiful! Every detail about the property was beautifully designed and furnished. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. The outside spaces were beautifully appointed. And the air conditioning worked marvelously for us Americans, who can’t live without it! The owners were lovely to work with all the way from Dallas, Texas. They were extremely communicative and helpful as well as accommodating when we had two additional guests want to stay with us at the last minute. If it weren’t set in such a beautiful location with so much to do in the general area, we would never have left the property. We are already dreaming of when we will go back.

Mas Chris d’ Olive Provençal farmhouse

The stone farmhouse had everything we could have wished for to enjoy our break , beautiful interiors and outstanding externals for socialising. We didn't get too use the pool and spa due to the weather, this is an outstanding feature and we look forward to returning when we can make the most of these facilities. The property manager was very helpful and Christiane the owner was outstanding in helping us with some queries. The owners have done an exceptional job restoring and styling this farmhouse. House stocked with kitchen essentials , drinks and snacks which you can use and replace , nice touch and a lovely complimentary bottle of rose wine was left for us when we arrived. The location is quite remote so would need a car its set in lovely countryside which was peaceful and great for walks, which we really enjoyed. Friendly neighbours and house within easy driving distance of Barjac , Lussan, Roc Sru Ceze and a little further the lovely town of Uzes. We look forward to staying again. Jayne & Barrie

Tolles Haus in der Nähe von Lussan

Wir (5 Erwachsene und ein Hund) haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Martine (Chefin vor Ort) war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Das Haus ließ keine Wünsche offen. Lediglich die etwas abseits befindliche Lage (20 min nach Uzes) könnte für Stadt- und Kulturschwärmer etwas hinderlich sein. Da wir jedoch einen Jagdhund dabei hatten, war für uns die Ruhe und ländliche Abgeschiedenheit äußerst angenehm. Der Pool war erfrischend und das Anwesen mit Liebe eingerichtet. Insgesamt hielt das Haus alles, was versprochen wurde.

Magnifique maison parfaitement conforme à la description. Le plaisir et la beauté de la vieille pierre avec tout le confort d’aujourd’hui. On s’y sent immédiatement très très bien. Très bien équipée. Rien ne manque comme à la maison. Décoration extérieure et intérieure soignée conforme à l’annonce. C’est même plus joli en réalité. Maison très propre. Emplacement très calme et entouré de verdure. Parfait pour se reposer et oublier la turbulence de la ville. Accueil parfait. Propriétaires attentionnés, à l’écoute et réactifs. Séjour très agréable. Pour faire les courses (supermarché) prévoir 20/25mn de route mais la ferme des Coudert très proche propose des produits frais et de qualité. 30mn d’Uzès en voiture. Merci à Martine pour l’accueil et à Christiane et Olivier d’avoir pensé à tout pour notre plus grand plaisir !

Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite. Un extérieur magnifique, un intérieur décoré avec beaucoup de goût, la clim dans les chambres est un vrai + Le préau est une vraie pièce supplémentaire avec son double barbecue... Un havre de paix! Wunderschön!

Das Haus ist wunderschön, wie man auf den Bildern unschwer erkennen kann. Es fehlt hier wirklich an gar nichts, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so brauchen könnte, selbst alle möglichen Lebensmittel sind vorhanden die man gerne wieder auffüllen darf. Die nächsten Geschäfte sind ein bisschen weiter weg und man tut gut daran vielleicht ein Baguette mehr zu kaufen und es in den Tiefkühlschrank zu legen, dann kann man es am nächsten Morgen aufbacken.......Technisch ist alles in einem top Zustand und funktioniert auch. Wir hatten 3 Hunde dabei und durften 2 Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus wohnen, was wirklich keine Selbstverständlichkeit ist. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Besitzer für ihr Vertrauen und ihre Toleranz!

C'est une belle propriété, de beaux extérieurs une piscine très bien conçue avec un jacuzzi super, des bains de soleil très confortables, espace salon table d'extérieur très bien avec tout ce qu'il faut. Décoration intérieure super, grand salon. Cuisine très bien équipée. Comme nous l'avions évoqué par téléphone avec le propriétaire la literie des 2 lits 2 personnes est à changer et l'évacuation des WC du haut est à revoir. Mais c'est une maison très agréable et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Landhaus

Mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes, wunderschönes altes Steinhaus, mit schönem Pool und Whirlpool ... eigentlich alles wie auf den Fotos. Die Schlafzimmer sind in heißen Sommern eigentlich unbwohnbar, aber es gibt eine gemütliche Couch im Wohnzimmer und man kann auch auf den Gartenliegen nächtigen, wenn die Temeraturen dann bei 40 Grad liegen. Ein großer umzäunter Garten, ideal für Kinder und Hunde. Vieleicht etwas einsam in den Weinbergen gelegen, man ist hier vom Auto abhängig ... natürlich könnte man dich auch ein Pferd nebenan mieten....

Dans un environnement parfait pour la randonnée et le repos, très joli hameau dans la nature et bergerie en bordure de forêt avec un coin piscine appréciable en saison. Mauvaises literies dans les chambres avec poutres tellement basses que l'on se cognent régulièrement la tête. La salle de bain est en fait une baignoire posée sur un palier avec une poutre située au dessus de celle-ci qui contrarie son accès. Aucun rangement dans la plus petite des chambres, un nid de guêpe dans le pignon de la maison qui viennent rôder et se noyer de la piscine, des salons extérieurs qui sont usagés font que le tarif de cette location est très surcotée.

Très bel extérieur, confortable et agréable à vivre

... mais l'intérieur n'est pas la hauteur : - les 2 salles de bains sont en réalité d'une part une salle d'eau au rez de chaussée (avec une grande douche - dont la cabine fuit) et d'autre part une baignoire posée toute seule (sans lavabo) dans le couloir d'accès à la chambre n°1 et au WC de l'étage. - WC de l'étage envahi par les guêpes (même en fermant le velux)... on y a aussi rencontré un scorpion... - la photo de la chambre n°3 ne correspond pas à la réalité (acquise avant son cloisonnement). Pas de prises pour lampes de chevet à la tête (la seule prise est dans un coin opposé) - tout le parquet de l'étage grince énormément au moindre pas... impossible de se lever la nuit sans réveiller tout le monde. - la literie des chambres n°1 et n° 2 est peu confortable et mériterait vraiment d'être remplacée. - idem pour la gazinière dont le four nécessite deux personnes pour l'allumage (un pour tourner le bouton et le maintenir un certain temps et l'autre pour soulever la plaque du bas tout en présentant l'allumette... ). Par ailleurs, la mauvaise isolation de la porte provoque un échauffement exagéré des boutons qu'il faut alors manipuler avec un gant isolant. - en revanche, l'extérieur correspond bien aux photos de l'annonce et est très agréable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse couverte, la plancha, la piscine, le jacuzzi... et le terrain de boules. CONCLUSION : prix trop élevé en raison de la médiocre qualité des prestations intérieures (en dépit de la gentillesse et du professionnalisme de la personne qui est en charge de l'accueil et de l'entretien de la maison)

Nous sommes 2 couples avec 3 enfants au total et avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle et grande maison. L intérieur est très fonctionnel et l extérieur si joli que vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. La région est magnifique pour qui aime les randonnées que ce soit dans de charmants petits villages et villes (lussan, uzes, Avignon) ou dans la nature (gorges du gardon, pont du Gard, cascades de la roque sur ceze). Séjour presque conforme à nos attentes

La propriété est très agréable conforme au calme attendu,la maison est superbe comme sur les photos. 2 bémols cependant; un grand chien doit rester sous surveillance, car il y a une possibilité de sauter le grillage et de sauter vers le portail de l'entrée . La piscine n'étant pas bâchée elle subit les baisses de température, et par conséquent notre première semaine moins chaude nous en a privée,certains parleront d'aléas,mais venant du sud nous savons ce qu'est une bonne température de baignade. Un grand merci à Fabienne qui est beaucoup plus qu'un ange gardien,en plus de son accueil très chaleureux ,et de sa mine de renseignements, elle est très attentive au bien être des locataires et nous l'a remercions chaleureusement

Un maison très charmante, des extérieurs vraiment au top, pétanque, parking privé, piscine chauffée à 29/30 jacuzzi a 34 ! Le rêve ! La Cuisine qui donne sur la terrasse couverte est très pratique. Nous avons séjourné entre amis avec des 2 bébés. Encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos ! En revanche un peu perdu, pas de commerce vraiment à proximité mais pour nous c’était l’idéal ! Et pas de climatisation, Dans les chambres sous les combles il fait un peu chaud!! Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir, a 20 min d’Uzès C’est une belle découverte !
