Elm is a bright and spacious 2 bedroom first floor apartment with all the essentials you need for the perfect self-catering holiday getaway! This apartment has been designed with modern and stylish touches throughout offering a relaxing environment for holiday makers. There’s an option to cook in your fully equipped kitchen with an open plan sitting / dining area, perfect to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring. There is a master bedroom with en-suite facilities, twin room with elevated views out to the sea and a contemporary family bathroom. The french doors let in an abundance of light, and on sunny days you can throw them open and step onto your very own furnished roof terrace for a breath of fresh air and alfresco dining whilst enjoying the sea views.
The accommodation is arranged as follows:

During the school summer holiday our change over day is Friday and our minimum stay is seven days. But at all other times we offer short breaks with a minimum of three days and we can also offer longer lets.
Dove Court occupies a large corner plot and enjoys an open aspect in all directions, with views of the pretty seaside town of Shanklin to the downs. It comprises five 1 and 2 bed apartments. So if Elm isn't available for your preferred dates, check out Ash, Cedar, Bay or Fir.
The location is excellent, close to the town, Downs and beach, and suitable for families:
• 5 minute walk to Shanklin Seafront with its golden beach, mini golf, amusement arcades, beach cafés, pubs and restaurants. • 5 minute walk to Shanklin’s main shopping area, railway station, and bus station. • 7 minute walk to Shanklin Old Village with its characterful pubs, restaurants and gift shops. • 3 minute walk to the cliff path which leads to the resort of Sandown, with hotels and cafés along the way.
The apartments at Dove Court are no smoking apartments. Unfortunately, we can't accept pets.
Whilst COVID-19 restrictions have now been lifted, please continue to help us reduce the risk of catching and spreading COVID 19 whilst staying with us. People are no longer legally required to self-isolate if you test positive for COVID-19. This modern well equipped 2 bed-2 bathroom apartment is comfortable, close to the Old town of shanklin and amenities also within a 10-15 walk of the beach with its shops, restaurants and bars and local attractions.

Modern apartment in Shanklin
As usual very quick and easy to book this property with VRBO. Nice 2-bed apartment with balcony on first floor of complex, very modern and all the right facilities for a week's holiday. Very nice welcome pack including wine and complimentary Vectis mug. No guest folder or WiFi code provided so had to contact owners - received by email. Would have been helpful to provide appliance manuals, TV set up for Netflix but not working during our stay, which was disappointing. Nice to have lots of room and comfy recliner sofas in the lounge with views over Shanklin and the sea. Would suggest owners put thicker curtains in main bedroom as light flooded in very early and disturbed our sleep I.e. light coloured blind and drapes mainly for privacy. Annoying creak on bottom stair to bedroom could be fixed as not sure if heard by apartment below. These are intended as constructive comments/feedback as we did thoroughly enjoy our stay here.

With regard to curtains, we already have black out curtains ready to hang during the closed season, so they will be in place for next year.
The lack of information folder and appliance manuals was a result of a misunderstanding between us and the cleaning team, as we had just started to re-introduce the hard copies into the apartments following there temporary removal during the coronavirus situation and Elm was unfortunately missed. Please accept our apologies for this.
We also apologise that you were unable to get Netflix working. We were unaware that you had this problem during your stay. WE will develop detailed instructions on how to work the TV with our IT partners, so these will be provided for next year. Many thanks for letting us know about the squeaky stair which we will attend to.
