Aloha! E komo mai. We hope you will come and stay in our beautiful condo in Maui Vista located on the second floor in a quiet location of Building 2. We are facing the West Maui mountains so we do not get direct sunlight in the living room area of the condo. This make it for a very refreshing condo and is so quiet and private facing into the gardens.
The kitchen and bathroom has been recently remodeled brand new cabinets and granite counter top. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking and even barbecue on the outdoor common area grills just steps away from your front door.

The condo is so safe you can leave the sliding door open while you adventure around the island and even the louver windows in the bedroom and living room the breezes and sounds of the birds are amazing.

The bedroom has an AC if you need to cool down while you sleep. We leave the sliding door open and the louver windows open and there is also a nice breeze blowing through. We have ceiling and standup fans to cut down you carbon foot print and keep Hawaii Green. We never turn on the AC and the weather is just perfect. The living room has a sofa bed and there is a cost for the extra guest.

Once dinner is cooked enjoy dinner on the lanai in the warm Maui evening. After dinner take a walk up and down South Kihei Rd and enjoy the warm evening and moonlight beach walk. Kihei main district of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and shopping (for the unlucky one's back home) is a short walk past Cove beach

There is a free non-assigned parking space for your rental car and you are just steps away from of the Maui's best beaches - Maui Vista condo complex located across the street and literally a 3-minute walk from this unit to Charley Young Beach - voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Connected to Charlie Young Beach is the famous Kamaole Beach #1. Kamaole Beaches #2, and #3 are just a little further down and one never needs to leave the shore to enjoy their miles of sandy beach. Walking, snorkeling, surfing, and stand-up paddle boarding are just a few of the many activities enjoyed on these beaches. Lifeguards, showers, picnic areas and restrooms are available at all three of the Kamaole beaches.

The Maui Vista Complex features lovely tropically landscaped grounds, 3 on-site saltwater swimming pools, all pools are available to all guests. 6 free newly resurfaced championship tennis courts, with 3 newly striped pickle ball courts, and gas grills for your use. Maui Vista is within walking distance to restaurants, shops, activities, and is minutes from the golf courses in Kihei, Wailea, and Makena.

Too much sun just spend the afternoon relaxing in the condo with the sliding door open and the front door open and sit back and enjoy the Maui trades coming thru the condo. This is possible cause our condo doesn't get hit by the afternoon sun and turn into an oven. Now you can forget about the hustle and bustle of the mainland.

Kihei is beach-combing territory on Maui’s southwest shore, the sunniest, driest end of the island. Situated on Maui's western shore, Kihei has grown exponentially over the years and now offers an impressive selection of hotels and restaurants, catering to visitors who flock to dive, swim and sun themselves on Maui's fine white sand beaches. Once a regular destination for sojourning Hawaiian royalty, Kihei features six miles of beaches, which offer clear views of Kahoolawe, Molokini, Lanai and West Maui. Along with swimming and surfing you can also find great snorkeling and kayaking, and you may even spot a giant humpback whale spouting or breaching the ocean’s surface. Home to the Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, Kihei is an excellent place to spot the vast mammals. Head out on a boat charter, eco-tour, rafting trip or fairway, or rent a car and drive the coastline or to volcanoes Haleakala and Puu Kukui.

We loved our stay at Maui Vista! The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. The condo was very clean and tidy. The amenities were a bonus. Having a selection of beach chairs, coolers, and an umbrella made the stay even better. We didn’t have to go out and buy those things. Access to the beach was simple. It was right across the street! Really, the condo location was excellent because we were in walking distance to all of the Kihei fun, including the food truck garden and, of course, the ocean.

This condo is in the perfect location for any Maui stay! I was able to easily walk to multiple beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and the food truck park. Kihei is also a short drive away from anywhere on the island so it made exploring much easier. I didn’t spend a lot of time in the condo and I didn’t really cook but the kitchen looked like it had everything that someone who does cook a lot might need. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The breeze from the balcony door is lovely and I was able to leave it open all day and night. Just beware that the roosters do get up early, but that’s everywhere on Maui and it was charming. There is an AC for the bedroom but I only used it for a few minutes on a really warm day. There were also fans throughout to help the breeze. Everyone was easy to deal with and the grounds were well maintained. I could always find a close parking spot. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Maui Vista numerous of times and have always loved it!! The ratings are based on what we know not what we saw (it did not allow for a ‘don’t know’ response ), as we ended up not staying at this condo due to a German Cockroach problem that we came to find out, they’ve had since the first week of December. Unfortunately, we found this only one day prior to our intended arrival. We had been enjoying our stay with family at another couple condos in the same building but planned on moving to this smaller condo once our family went home. This came as a complete shock and put us into a panic as we now had no place to stay. In fact, 4 days prior we had asked if it was possible to put some food in the fridge/freezer early on arrival date. The host replied back that it was not possible because someone was leaving that day. The host communicated briefly with us on Jan 5th through email about her problem and even asked us what we thought. When we asked her for a phone call, it wasn’t until hours later that we received it leaving us in quick a panic all day. The only positive experience we had was that we were quickly issued our refund. Luckily, we found an amazing condo and helpful host that had had a last minute cancellation in another complex.

Awesome Location!

We loved staying in this property for two weeks! The location is fantastic - right across the street from Charley Young beach. While we mostly chose to drive to our favorite, Big Beach, we found this location in South Kihei to be very accessible to day trips to the rest of the island. We enjoyed the garden view and the balcony on the second floor. The complex was quiet and we found the rate to be reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and were very glad we did not stay in West Maui as it was very, very congested when we visited that side of the island.

It was clean and had everything what you need for your great vacation (towels, beach accessory, condiments for barbecue, etc.) Also, we had a starter kit for our arrival (soap, paper towels) that was there helpful when you travel with kid. The condo location is great, close to beach, stores. Owner is very nice. We clad we choose this condo for our vacation. Thank you!!!

I come to Hawaii every year and I decided to make a vacation home purchase on Maui.

Why they chose this property

I bought a Maui Vista, because of its location to the Charley Young beach and its location near all the shops and restaurants. My sister has stayed at this complex every year for the last 8 years and she said it was the best place in So. Kihei. I also purchased in So. Kihei because of its proximity to all of the Island activities. Also all the Makena and Wailea beaches are so close and it is just an awesome place to stay and relax.

What makes this property unique

I just got back form the condo and updated the decor and toys. I am sure you will be happy and love the unit as much as I do. I added a laptop and a desk for your Internet needs.
