The Cortijo La Solanilla is located at the country side in a place with great charm, just next to Sierra Nevada National Park, with stunning mountain views and the reservoir of Canales, a place to enjoy tranquility and rest, a unique experience to live in a typical Andalusian house.

The house has three bedrooms, two with double bed and one with a bunk bed, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils.
The large living room has a big fireplace, slimline TV and a chosen charming decoration
There are two terraces, one with access from the kitchen with a barbecue and dining furniture, the other terrace with access from the living room, has amazing views and is perfect for relaxing moments and chill out.

The airport of Malaga is one hour driving from Granada.
About the activities to do in the area, you have a lot of options like: mountain hiking, mountain biking, climbing, ballon flight, paragliding, canoeing, skiing in Sierra Nevada ski resort.

Out of the way get away!

While it was about a 30 minute drive to Granada center, the serene setting of this home was perfect for us. The only thing I would have liked was a bit larger bed and a better coffee maker. There is a new French press there that we purchased and left behind.

Idyllic….. exceeded expectations

After a week of high activity in Sevilla this was the perfect place to chill within easy travelling distance of Granada. Our host was a star providing local information and even came to our rescue with jump leads after leaving the headlights on our rental car on overnight. What more could I wish for? …. hard to say ….. would have spent more time in the pool if the water had been warmer…… that was a bit of a challenge but it was October and overnight temperatures are quite cool so probably unrealistic expectations. A truly magical place ….. will not hesitate in recommending it to friends and family.

Desde que vi el sitio me encantó y me sorprendió aún más que en las fotos. El lugar es casi inmejorable, impresionantes vistas y mucha tranquilidad. Para mi gusto no faltó de nada, el único cambio que haría seria el colchón, por lo demás el trato muy bueno y como digo la cabaña La Alcazaba tiene muchos detalles y es preciosa junto con el entorno. Hicimos la vereda de la estrella que es increible, 11 km pero no es dificil, eso sí id previstos de comida y agua. Sin duda lo recomendaría y nos encantaría volver!!!

Escapada a Sierra Nevada con descanso al calor de la chimenea

Una casa rural ubicada en un entorno increíble, remanso de paz y tranquilidad, con unas vistas y entorno idílico. Pasamos un acogedor fin de semana en Sierra Nevada. Tampoco disfrutamos a tope de la casa, ya que era febrero y el motivo de nuestra escapada era ir a esquiar a Sierra Nevada; por lo que, nos levantábamos temprano y ya llegábamos entorno a las 19h a la casa. Al volver después de toda la mañana esquiando, se agradecía el descanso al calorcito de la chimenea. La casa está muy bien. Rural pero moderna y muy cuidada en cada detalle. Solo fuimos 2personas(la casa es para 6),y el dueño se portó muy bien...nos hizo un precio especial por debajo de lo que correspondia para esas fechas. En cuanto al tema de la leña,si que recomendaría que se acordase por anticipado. Por lo demás, el trato con los dueños bastante cordial. Sin duda, es un lugar al que volvería, pero en este caso en primavera o verano para disfrutar de la piscina y del entorno.

¡Que Sueño!

Fuimos con 6 personas, incluyendo 2 niños. Fue un verdadero gozo y sueño estar allí. La casa esta bien equipada y decorado estilo rústico. El paisaje y el entorno es para morir. El lago, los arboles de todo tipo, la piscina, la vista, los dueños...todo ha sido con un toque del cielo. Lo recomiendo! What a dream! We went with 6 people, including 2 kids. It was a truly joyful and dream experience! The house is totally equipped and decorated in a rustic style. (Really, really cute!) The countryside and the whole setting is to die for! The lake below, the trees of every type, the pool, the views, the owners....everything was with a touch of heaven. I recommend it highly!
