About this property

Space for everyone. Overlooking peaceful green space. pet-friendly

Our place is close to parks, restaurants and long lake. From here you are less than 15min to the beach, the lake or downtown. Use this as a home base while exploring Vancouver Island. Our place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
2 Bedroom upper floor of house, full kitchen, washer and dryer. about 1200 sq/ft Dogs are welcome there is a green space out back that is good for kids and animals. 2 King size beds as well as a queen air bed. We offer WiFi and Netflix and a air conditioner in the main part of the house. We are centrally located near shopping and Restaurants.
A quick trip to the ocean or the lake. You can explore the island from here, Tofino on the west coast, Mt Washington for a day of skiing, the beautiful beaches of Parksville, Bungy jumping at Wild Play, World famous Chemainus murals or a trip down to Victoria our capitol city. We also have world class scuba diving, excellent fishing, kayaking, hiking and mountain biking.

This place was spacious and clean! It worked perfectly for our group and we had a lovely time. The only issue we had was finding the place at night and I think the driveway would be pretty bad if it was icy or snowy out (it's steep and narrow). We would definitely rent this spot again!

Kitchen was fully equipped, however it could use a few more dish towels. Previous tenants left the Barbecue dirty…. Should have been addressed.There is a tripping hazard with patio boards that should be looked after for future guests. Bathrooms were well equipped however all drains including the kitchen sink should be taken care of. The bathtub filled up while taking a shower. All in all it was a very nice rental with very comfortable beds.

We were a group of five adults, including several seniors, so this house had all the room we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. We really appreciated all the little extras (ample dishware for a larger group, plenty of comfy beds and seating, two full baths, and plenty of storage and towels). Communication with the owners was excellent throughout the process. The location was great as we did a lot of day trips during our stay. The kitchen was new and all appliances worked well. We were able to make several meals easily and had lots of fridge space. High quality toilet paper which is not always the case in a rental proprty. Much appreciated :) The heat pump was available when needed. Although we had no pets on this trip, the residence is pet-friendly. The back yard appeared to be under repair and will eventually have access from the back deck. It was fine because we did not have much time to enjoy the garden. Something to look forward to another time. The driveway and parking situation was a bit tricky as we had a large SUV as our rental. With a different car, it would be fine. The owner allowed us to charge the hybrid rental which was super convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

This home easily accommodated six of us for a family gathering. The location is convenient. We did a lot of cooking, the open concept meant we could all visit while cooking and playing board games, etc. The 2 king beds and one queen are really comfortable. The driveway is steep but allows you to drive right through without having to back out. We would definitely recommend this home.

We had a lovely time at this house. Super clean, super central to all the things we wanted to do (beach, hikes, etc). Well stocked kitchen, huge soft beds and all the necessary amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc). Quiet property and the kitchen/living room faces a quiet green forest. Craig and Tricia were very easy to get a hold of. My daughters and I had a relaxing time!

My family stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. The home was clean, quiet, and comfortable — exactly as described, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect: peaceful yet close to shops, walking trails, and the ocean. The host was responsive and check-in was smooth. I felt right at home and would definitely stay here again. Great place in NAnaimo

This was a great place for a weekend in Nanaimo, with a great location. The place was clean and well done. The pictures were accurate. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary accessories. Great value for dollar.
