We had the best time, the hot tub was perfect and the peace and quiet in the pines was much needed. Everything was exactly as listed, and we would love to come again!
The cabin is absolutely adorable! It's in a great location. Easily accessible to Asheville and Gatlinburg. We really enjoyed the remote, private setting. Online pics could use a little bit of an update. Flower bushes and trees have grown up around the cabin which gives a bit of a different look than the pictures that are posted online. That didn't really bother us since we enjoyed the enhanced privacy that they offered. But, thats the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars for that part of our review.
A rustic cabin that was nice for my wife and I for a couple days. Quiet and fairly secluded. We got used to the ladder to the loft but it may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns.
The cabin met every expectation. It was beautiful. Quiet, peaceful yet close enough to attractions and restaurants. Thank you for the pre-cut wood bundles. We love a fire at night in the woods looking at the stars...but....there was a hot tub !!!! That won out over the fire...we were in it every night. Now that is total relaxation. The cabin had everything you would need in a place away from home. We didn't need the fireplace but it was there is needed. We loved the little out building on the trail away from the cabin looking down at the road. Very little traffic but lots of birds. This place is a real gem. Thank you for sharing your home with us.Patty Phillips-Pavlock and Dave Pavlock from Pennsylvania.
Hot tub was in great shape and kept temp nice and hot. Cabin was clean and the perfect mix of secluded but not lost in the great unknown. The only way to the bed is up a ladder so make sure you can do that...no issue for us but know this. Also used the grill and it worked great....overall very very good.
This cabin was a joy to stay in. Very comfortable and enjoyable to spend time in. Hot tub was enjoyable and the heaters in the cabin kept it warm even when it was below freezing at night.
We had the best time at this cabin. It was so cozy and relaxing. We loved all the outdoor areas, especially the sit spot near the creek! We will definitely back!
The cabin is very charming. It’s in a very private setting, with outdoor fire pit that’s set up very comfortably, and made more perfect with the sounds of the nearby creek. And the fabulous hot tub ! Perfect weekend getaway
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We had no phone service at the cabin,so it was very peaceful. We did have wifi so we were able to stay in touch with family. We will definitely stay there again
Had a wonderful stay here. Everything was as advertised, and we took full advantage of the hot tub and porch views! We also had a great hike on Max Patch Mountain. Be sure you're comfortable climbing a ladder to get to/from bed!
Awesome property! Very quiet and private. Very clean and just an all around great location.

About the host
Hosted by Craig Mariani
As our son was starting to explore the world around him more and more, we wanted to find a place where we could wander and wonder, and we found it the moment we found Bear Creek Cabins. Both of our cabins and the beautiful land around them transports us to relaxation and connection each time we are lucky enough to get time away to our beautiful cabins. We're so happy that we can share them with others when we're not there.
Why they chose this property
