I am pretty shocked with Susan's review regarding shape of my home. First, this home is not strictly rental and it is used by me and my husband half of the year. I change linens very often, since we use the house as well and we do not like to sleep in sheets that are not in a good condition. That includes pillows as well. Each bed has at least 3 extra sheets sets and at least two to three sets of pillows so tenant can exchange it if the set that is on the bed is not to their liking. I purchase new towels all the time and make sure that I replace all the ones that look used or are damaged with the bleach which happens often with tenants. Our current carpet which is in only two bedrooms was replaced at the end of 2018. We professionally clean our carpets and sofas about 3 to 4 times per year. Microwave did have issues and would lose power sometimes. We tried fixing it or replacing it, but since it's built in, it is very hard to find exact size to replace it with, so we would leave tenant with a instructions that microwave needs to be unplugged when it loses power which would then restart it and it would work again. Not sure why Susan is saying that oven and stove are not working, since I use them on a daily basis when we live in the house, which is 4-6 months of the year and they are functioning perfectly. But for any future potential renter, this year we replaced all the appliances to brand new ones. Microwave was impossible to replace, ice maker started malfunctioning so we replaced everything in order to get unified look and that everything can match. House is now equipped with brand new appliances. ( double oven, double door fridge, stove, drawer microwave, dishwashing machine. and a wall mount hood.) Also, we do not rent the house on short term basis, it is usually month or longer stays, so there are not that many people passing through like Susan says. And just like she mentioned, I am also veteran VRBO user and my house is definitely better then most places I rented out. I assure you that. I am only going to add that Susan wanted to return this year to Palm Desert and rent my property again, but our place was already booked. If she was that unhappy and turned off by my home, why want to return to the same place following year. Maybe this review was written negatively because I did not rent to her again. As you can see, all other reviews for my property are 5 stars. That should also give you reassurance when renting my home. Thanks for taking time to read my response.

Hi Ana, glad you had a great weekend. Sorry about the microwave, I checked into it and it was a fuse issue. Microwave needed to be rebooted by plugging it out and plugging it back in. That fixed the problem. Thanks for staying at our property :)
