Spacious duplex apartment ****, completely renovated in the summer of 2018 (labeled "4 flakes Gold" by the station), in a quiet residence.

Ideal location:
- 50 meters from the ski slopes (Sherpa and Tango Hotels ski departures),
- 150 meters from the shopping mall Péclet (all shops),
- 3 minutes from the resort center,
- magnificent view of the mountains and the sunset.

4 true double rooms:
- 1 bedroom with 2 single beds 80 x 200cm,
- 3 bedrooms with double beds 160 x 200cm,
(including 1 family room with 1 double bed + 2 extra beds under-slope, 2 beds 80 x 200cm)

+ 1 additional small sleeping area with 2 single beds of 80 x 200cm (sub-slope landing).

2 Bathrooms completely new, with modern and warm decor.
Double vanity units and large mirror backlit in each; one with walk-in shower on the ground floor, the other with bath and shower on the floor.

A fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, Nespresso, toaster etc.), completely new, "savoyard chic" style,

Open on the spacious living space:
- dining room comfortably accommodating 12 people,
- large living area with corner sofa, chaise longue, armchairs,
- large flat screen wall (120cm), with access to digital channels,

Fabulous, massive for a ski apartment and really beautiful finish. The restricted headroom upstairs was a non issue for me as I sleep lying down ;)Nice easy walk to the bars/restaurant. A nice easy flat walk to start skiing (just behind Tango), and even shorter on the way home (20m at most).Loved the boot room at the back of the garage btw

Great location close to slopes and bars and resteraunts, but not so close that it is too noisy! Space is great, very clean and Yannick was always on hand to help with any questions.The property manages in resort didnt give the best check in instructions i.e how to access / location of the boot room and what floor / number the flat was but i messaged Yannick through VRBO and he gave answers straight away

The apartment was very spacious and perfect for 8 adults. It was a bonus to have a garage for one of our cars and the dedicated boot room. Vey well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery, glasses and cutlery. The apartments access to slopes via the side of the hotel across the road is fine for experienced skiers...not so good for beginners and a last ski down past the Folie Douce is always entertaining at the end of the day. Key pick up /drop off was easy although quite a distance from the apartment. Close to Peclet shops for ski hire, shopping and pubs. Yanneck was very quick responding to questions before our stay which was helpful. We had an excellent view of the new year fireworks from our balcony!!!

The location is perfect. Near the village but not loud. the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are plenty. Living area is really comfortable. The doors & walls are pretty thin.Overall really good appartement!

Excellent chalet - we would visit again!

Great size property, clean, very well equipped kitchen for cooking, large garage with boot warmers for all your ski gear, fantastic location close to the slopes, comfy beds. The ski in is just a few steps from the accommodation which was great after a long day skiing. The only issue we had was getting the keys, we were not aware they had to be collected from the town from the agent. Thankfully our taxi driver helped translate and showed us where to go. I would definitely recommend and return!

Fantastic apartment, great holiday!

The apartment is wonderful. Extremely clean and all the appliances worked well. We particularly loved the garage and boot room with heated boot dryers. Yannick the owner was really helpful and quick to reply to messages. The only downside was the key collection process. We arrived at 5pm as instructed to collect the keys, unfortunately the property was not ready. We were sent to the back of the queue and didn't get the keys until 6.30pm. We would very happily stay here again if the key pick up was a bit smoother.

fisheye lens Apartment

The photos of the apartment must have been taken with a fisheye lens. In fact, everything is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. There were seven of us, and that was a tight squeeze. It's impossible to live comfortably for 10 adults. The attic is particularly unbearable; you have to climb under a 1.20 m low roof beam to get to the room! The garage with its own ski storage room is a positive. Pick up the key from the agency was very disappointing. Aside from the fact that it's relatively far from the apartment, I had to wait outside in the cold for almost an hour until it was finally my turn. There were three women there who only spoke French, an imposition for an agency in a purely tourist resort...

Great apartment and location - for 6 or 8 people

Great, stylish apartment with lots of storage and a fabulous Boot Room. Kitchen was very well equipped although no basic dry food supplies (not even S&P) or any hand soap. It is advertised to sleep many more but you can only comfortably seat 8 people at the dinner table or in the lounge area. And the additional beds are in locations where you wouldn't be able to sit up in bed or stand up fully in the space due to the eaves. Garage parking was good and managed to park a second car in front of the garage with no problems. Collecting the keys from the agency was a nightmare with extremely long slow queues and abrupt staff. They also requested that beds were stripped and left in the corridor which we felt was ridiculous given what we are paying and what the owners are no doubt paying to them to service the apartment.

Val Thorens ski apartment

We were 2 families staying with older teenager children and the location was great as you could ski in and out of the property and had lovely views from the balcony. Set in a very quiet area, the apartment was large enough for 8 of us and was nice to have the separate upstairs space for the teenagers with their bedrooms and bathroom/shower! (Be mindful however of the detail in the listing re the sloping roof as these beds would only be suitable for younger children) Lovely modern kitchen and large bathrooms with plenty of hot water, just needed a few basics such as salt/pepper, cooking oil, tea/coffee bottle of washing up liquid, soap etc We arrived very late in the evening as our flight was delayed and there were no shops open to get milk/tea/coffee etc Boot/ski storage and warmers are located in the garage downstairs. Check in process was a bit of a faff, we had to collect one key the night we arrived from the agency at the bottom of the hill and then return to the office the following day for the 2 further keys. A keybox located at the property itself would have been much easier! Yannick was an extremely friendly, responsive and a super helpful host. Would definitely recommend :)

Best Host Ever (and a great place)

Pros: #1 best experience with a host ever. Extremely accommodating (we were coming in earlier, so Yannick arranged for us to get access to garage early), very responsive (never waiting longer than a couple minutes), and generally most helpful host I've ever deal with. Brand new apartment. All the appliances are new, the bathrooms are stylish, and in general everything feels premium. The ski room is very convenient and the boot warmers are perfect. Very good location. Basically ski-in (20m) and Ski-out (50m). Lot's of restaurants nearby. Bus station right nearby (Neves) to get farther into town. Cons: The angled roof on the top takes a bit of getting used to. Anyone that is sleeping in the mezzanine area and/or the extra beds upstairs should either be very short, or prepared to hit their head a couple times. We expected this, but still just something to keep in mind. We were 8 adults so were fine, but probably at 10 would not be so comfortable... Biggest con (and this speaks to how nice the place is overall) is that the two bedrooms upstairs don't have a window (there is a skylight but you can not use it during the winter due to snow). If you want fresh air circulating then you need to keep the door open. That being said, the bedrooms downstairs are absolutely perfect! Bonus + TV with Netflix and Youtube!

Super séjour

Excellent séjour ! L’appartement est conforme au descriptif. Il est très bien équipé et confortable. Très bon emplacement dans la station : au calme, proche des commodités (pharmacie, supermarché…). Départ en ski après quelques minutes de marche et retour à ski à quelques mètres de l’immeuble. Nous reviendrons !

Séjour bonheur

Le propriétaire est à l’écoute, réactif dans les réponses et bienveillant. L’appartement est très bien placé dans la station, hyper fonctionnel, chacun a son espace, qualité des équipements top. Bel appartement bien situé

Appartement joliment meublé, conforme aux photos. Bien équipé et propre. Entrée spacieuse pour y ranger les vêtements de ski. Très belle ski room pour y ranger skis et chaussures de ski. Comme sur les photos, certaines chambres de l'étage sont très mansardées. Il faut marcher 5 minutes avec les skis pour atteindre la piste. La ski room communique avec le garage, il apparait donc difficile d'y garer sa voiture car elle risque de prendre un coup de baton ou de ski.

Comment resumer notre sejour en quelques mots. Tout simplement magnifique! Nous nous sommes sentis comme a la maison dans ce spacieux chalet et toute la famille a passe un super moment. Good apartment in a great situation

The apartment is in a great position, virtually ski in and ski out. It is well equipped and has plenty of hot water. We had a lovely stay here. The owner seems very helpful and will address any minor issue that you have. Be aware that check in is at 5pm.
