About this property

Casa di Chibi; a wonderful holiday home at the Fontein villa park

Feel at home in our great holiday home. With this in mind, we have had our house built and furnished. Casa di Chibi is a detached holiday home located on the secured resort Villapark Fontein with a very spacious covered terrace so that you can always stay outside. No sense in the terrace; the garden furniture is easy to move so that you can relax in the sun or in the shade. We hope that everyone will feel at home there just as much and enjoy as much as we do.
A great starting point to enjoy all the beautiful things Curacao has to offer. Just 5 minutes away are three of the most beautiful beaches (Cas Abou, Daaibooi and Porto Marie) where you can relax, swim, snorkel or dive to your heart's content.
There are two small supermarkets, a medical post and a gas station about a 10-minute drive to Willemstad. Willemstad with its many sights is around 20 minutes away.
Christoffel Park and Sheta Boka National Park are also around 10 minutes' drive away.

The villa is modest but very clean and acceptable for a home base. This is perfect for budget travelers who are interested in exploring the island and beaches. The west side of the island has become much more popular and as such there is much more traffic than there used to be. The noise is considerably more than it was even a few months ago. If you want a place to just hang out and relax in the quite this is probably not the villa for you.

Thank you for your review. Absolutely a perfect base for exploring the west side of the island. The traffic noise at the rear is perceived very differently. The lounge set at the front is a great place to relax.

Perfect spot for best beaches

Villapark Fontein is a pleasant and safe place to live ... It is located close of great beaches and central on the island.... Michelle was very helpful at our arrival ... The pool was very appreciated after the beach ... The beaches are amazing and most beautiful that we have seen. I highly recommend Casa di Chibi ....

Beautiful house, but that road…

The house is lovely and had everything we needed. A good value for money! It was very clean and everything functional. A couple things stopped me from giving 5 stars: - the house is in the perfect location neighborhood of Fontein, great access to get everywhere. It’s a safe and clean neighborhood. Unfortunately this house was first row to the very busy main road and it was very noisy 24/7. Lots of trucks. - during our stay they completely renovated the house next door, which resulted in additional noise and workers looking straight to your pool, kitchen etc. I don’t find it very appealing if workers watch me in my bikini in the pool. - there is no air condition in the living or kitchen area, only in the bedrooms. - the pool cleaners flushed filters etc and pumped out a lot of water. We refilled the pool twice in 11 days so the pump wouldn’t run dry, since nobody else seemed to bother. Other than this is was a beautiful home and absolutely lovely to use as your home base to discover the beautiful island. Enjoy your stay, if a busy road don’t bother you.

Superbes vacances

Nous avons eu de superbes vacances dans ce beau pays. La casa du chibi est vraiment très bien. Elle est située dans un coin tranquille et sécuritaire de l’île. Il y a une route qui passe en arrière mais pour nous ce n’était pas grave considérant l’ensemble de l’œuvre.

Schönes Haus im nördlichen Teil der Insel

Gute Nähe zu den Stränden Cas Abou und Porto Mari. Nach Willemstad ca. 25-30 min Fahrtweg. Keine Abendaktivitäten fußläufig und große Supermärkte nur rund um Willemstad. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind aber ohne großen Zeitaufwand ereeichbar. Haus liegt leider in vorderster Reihe zur Straße, daher teilweise sehr laut. Aber insgesamt gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wij hebben van een fijne mooie vakantie kunnen genieten, het onthaal is zeer vlot verlopen de beheerder was steeds in de buurt om onze mogelijke vragen te beantwoorden, ook lag er een samengestelde map en boeken met heel veel informatie. Tip: regelmatiger reinigen zwembad
