About this property
Rural Complex 7 Lux Cottages, Oak Cottage, Upside Down Acc, Beautiful View
Vose Farm is an outstanding holiday cottage complex situated in a glorious rural position at the head of the Roseland Peninsula.
Vose Farm is situated just outside the historic village of Tregony, known to many as the “gateway” to the Roseland Peninsula. One of the most unspoilt areas in Cornwall and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Roseland is widely renowned for its beautiful coastline and scenic countryside. Standing on the eastern side of the River Fal, The Peninsula extends from Tregony to St. Anthony’s Head, much being the ownership of the local Tregothnan Estate and The National Trust.
St Mawes is perhaps the best known destination on the peninsula and needs little introduction as the up-market sailing community renowned for Olga Polizzi’s Hotel Tresanton. Set around the sheltered and picturesque natural harbour at the mouth of the Percuil River, St. Mawes offers direct access to the Fal Estuary and Carrick Roads with some of the finest day sailing waters in the country. Regular racing is organized by St. Mawes Sailing Club with further water sports available on the Percuil River.
The nearest beach is at Porthluney with other notable nearby beaches including Pendower, Carne and Porthbeor. The pretty classic small fishing village of Portloe is approximately 6 miles to the south with Portscatho slightly further away. The Southwest Coast Path provides a variety of beautiful walks along this stretch of coastline including Dodman Point and Nare Head, both of which are in the ownership of the National Trust.
Tregony is just less than 3 miles away where there are general stores, doctors, and a dentist. There are a variety of country pubs in the surrounding area including The Crown Inn at St. Ewe and The Kings Head at Ruan Lanihorne. The Cathedral city of Truro is approximately 11 miles distance and now forms the commercial heart of the county with an extensive range of commercial, professional, shopping and entertainment facilities. In the city centre there is a flagship Marks and Spencer Store, multi-screen cinema and The Hall for Cornwall theatre.

Our aim is to provide first class accommodation in a beautiful setting so that you can just relax and enjoy your hard worked holiday in Cornwall. All the cottages have undergone a through revamp, newly decorated with all new bedding and soft furnishing to ensure you enjoy your stay at Vose Farm. Set in 20 acres of the most beautiful country side Vose Farm is the ideal place to escape and relax.
Why they chose this property
Vose Farm is situated in one of the most desired locations in Cornwall, close to local beaches and the facilities of Truro. Skilfully developed from a traditional working farm, this exceptional holiday cottage complex is set in its own land and commands stunning far reaching views. Approached over a private driveway, the farmhouse and cottages stand at the very heart of the holding with around 19.5 acres of surrounding amenity land including the Camping Club Certified Location, wildlife pond, maturing woodland walks and paddocks.
The cottages are a mixture of converted barns and new builds, the superb collection of holiday cottages have been created to provide high quality accommodation for guests blending contemporary style with traditional features. The cottages are thoughtfully spaced throughout the central section of the holding with private gardens, parking and access to the surrounding landscaped grounds. All cottages now have free WI-FI
Vose Farm has a driveway leading off the country road and this then sub-divides in a variety of ways to serve the individual cottages and Camping Certified location.
Just off the driveways are the Children’s Play Area and the individual parking areas whilst a section of maturing woodland descends towards the wildlife pond and campsite.
The five touring pitches all benefit from electric hook-ups with hard-standing. There is a chemical waste disposal point, fresh water and a recycling point, whilst adjacent is he wildlife pond and dog exercise area.
Continuing to the rear of the farmhouse is a wide area of recently planted woodland with mown pathways throughout offering an enchanting opportunity to wander amongst the countryside. Over looked by four of the holiday cottages there are attractive, relatively level, pasture paddocks which are sub-divided with post and rail fencing. Around the boundaries of two of the fields are two attractive running streams
