Set in a peaceful village, this spacious countryside retreat sleeps up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, making it ideal for multigenerational families, friends, and special celebrations.

*Downstairs*
you'll find two comfortable double bedrooms with a bathroom (with shower) located close by. The highlight is the very large studio bedroom, featuring a king-size bed, sofa bed, and its own en-suite. This studio also includes toys and a children's play kitchen set, making it a fantastic space for families with little ones.

*Upstairs*
there's another double bedroom and a twin room with a pull-out trundle, plus an additional bathroom.

At the heart of the home is the open-plan country kitchen and vaulted living room, filled with rustic charm and designed for group gatherings. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook for a crowd and seats up to 12 (14 with stools) for memorable group meals — whether you're preparing them yourself or enjoying a feast made by our optional in-house chef.

Evenings can be spent around the cozy log fire, playing board games or enjoying a film on the Smart TV. In warmer months, step outside to the garden gazebo for al fresco dining, stargazing, or simply unwinding in the fresh New Forest air.

A lovely house which made for a great family celebration for a couple of big birthdays. Plenty of space and well equipped for all age groups and a wheelchair user. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Great property

Great property, plenty of space for 12 people, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. The only downside unfortunately was that we were very conscious of making to much noise, so felt that we had to close all doors and windows by 8pm! but we would highly recommend the property and would go back

Perfect getaway

The location was great, gorgeous options for places to go no matter which direction you went. There was so much space in the house we never felt on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with a huge fridge and freezer which was perfect for catering for all those staying. The garden is fabulous and really caught the sun in the afternoon

House location very good but Neighbours not tolerant of excited children on holiday . We would not have booked if we had known about sound sensors and 8.00pm curfew . We felt we couldn’t enjoy the l garden . Should be make clearer in the website . Would not recommend

Birthday celebration

Our family gathered at the property to celebrate a 70th birthday, there were twelve of us including two babies and we had a fantastic time, the property was well equipped and everything went very smoothly. I would recommend this property to friends.

Great family property

Lancot Chalet

A lovely property, great for a big group and good facilities and location. Excellent communication and help from the owners and housekeeper, Sharon. My only quibble was that it was not as accessible as I had thought - just one side ramp into the house, but no ramp out to the back garden for my Aunt, who is in a wheelchair. Quite low toilet seat too. Might be worth fixing that to make it fully accessible. But thanks for a great stay, Julie.

Lovely location in a super property

Lovely stay at Lancot chalet - it was well needed after the long lock down. The property is lovely - a great location with easy access to all the top destinations in the New Forest. Well equipped; spacious and warm with well sized rooms in a modern, simply decorated layout. Very few criticisms and I am being picky, however we all felt the property could do with a good deep clean - which we were surprised about given the length of period it has been unoccupied. There were no tea towels and (all) pillows were uncomfortable. It would be worth the owner spending a little bit of cash to improve these item. Many thanks

Our amazing housekeeper has never had any issues raised re cleanliness and was really surprised by your comments and we are both sure what areas you are referring to so may give you a call to clarify. Please in future do communicate any issues when you are in the property our housekeeper is amazing and is very responsive and could have been at your door with tea towels and new pillows at pity this was mentioned post check out. Spacious very well equipped house.

The house is spacious and very well equipped. Our grandchildren were delighted with the toys and the set up in the large bedroom. They commandeered it and felt at home immediately. We had a fabulous time going to the New Forest, nearby beaches and attaractions. Tesco superstore is within 10 minutes drive and other smaller stores within 5 minutes. We were a bit unlucky with the weather and so had to spend quite a lot of time indoors which we did not mind as the facilities were so good. Claire and her team were very quick to respond to to our queries and had also organised surprise presents for my wife and I for our birthdays (much appreciated)! We will definitely stay here again and will also recommend it to our family and friends.

Perfect stay!

This is a fantastic property in the New Forest, perfect for large groups and great for children. It has everything you could possibly need and the hosts are very responsive to questions and do everything to guarantee a wonderful stay. We will definitely return!

Fab family reunion

The property was renovated a few years back, we did our best to optimize the light throughout and we think we've achieved that, we have one big family room which allows a family size of 4-6 to stay in it and we have recently kitted it out with toys for young children
