A Home Away From Home!

We had a fabulous stay at this property! The home was quaint, nestled into the hillside. It was incredibly comfortable and clean with plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. We had everything we needed for a weekend getaway in North Carolina! It truly was like being at home away from home!! And, Kimberly was incredibly easy to coordinate with, provided clear directions for our drive and checked with us once we had arrived to see if we needed anything. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend that others do as well!

The property is mostly surrounded by nature and rolling hills with excellent views. Its only 10 min. for Weaverville and 20 min. for Asheville.

There are several moss and fern filled hiking trails right out side the back door that take you to the Ivy River which you can tube, swim or fish.
Experience a true edible landscape and organic gardens and orchard that has been created by an herbalist of 35 yrs.
Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen to create yummy meals
Build a fire in the fire place, there is plenty of firewood.
Lush large healthy plants and flowering plants throughout the home
We have some of the best tap water in the county!
Rabbits Romping free and usually there are goats in the nearby pastures.
There is an lovey tuxedo king kitty that is outside during the day and inside at night. For people with allergies I can do a super clean and keep him out of the house.
Visit the Sacred Fire Community hearth which is right next door. They have weekly- monthly fires and offerings in the tradition of the Huichol Indians of Mexico.
20 minutes to Navitat zip line extravaganza.
One hr. drive to the top of Mt. Mitchell highest Mt. on the east coast.
10 minuets to the quaint town of Weaverville
20 minutes to the eclectic city of Asheville.
You could soak in a hot mineral bath at Hot Spring NC which is 40 minutes away and then drive another 40 min. and hike 1/2 mile to "Max Patch" Mt. top to see panoramic views.
