About this property

East Sands Escape. Recently refurbished with garden. 10 min walk to town

New for Summer 2019. Located in the beautiful Scottish town of St Andrews, our apartment is a recently renovated Victorian flat just a 2 minute walk from East Sands and a relaxed 10 minutes stroll to the centre of the town. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people over three bedrooms and offers an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, a family bathroom, cloakroom and shower room. A private garden to enjoy outdoor eating and entertainment and on-street parking are also available.

The apartment is accessed via the rear of the Victorian terrace, where a private porch leads to stairs to the accommodation which is all located on the first floor of the building.
There are 3 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with king size beds, with one featuring sea views across East Sands. The third is a smaller double bedroom.

The living area is bright space with two sofas and an arm chair. A Smart Tv is available with access to Netflix. Free WIFI is available throughout the apartment. The kitchen area is well equipped with a cooker and integrated fridge and dishwasher. There is also a microwave, toaster and kettle. All the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils you will need for your stay are provided. There will also be basic cupboard supplies such as tea, coffee, salt pepper, oils, spices etc for you to use. There is a dining table and chairs in the kitchen area, perfect to enjoy a relaxing meal.

The family bathroom offers a bath with over the bath electric shower. In addition to the main family bathroom there is a small shower room accessed via the laundry room which has a walk- in shower with rain fall shower and wash hand basin. There is also a small cloakroom which has a further WC and wash hand basin. The laundry room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer and a larger fridge freezer should you wish to stock up.

The private garden at the rear of the house has a picnic table and BBQ to allow you to enjoy outside dining when the weather permits and a further seating area with firepit to allow you to enjoy the garden even on a chilly night!

Golf Break

Booked this gorgeous flat for a 6 night break as my children were taking part in a golf competition. The pictures do not do it justice.. The flat was stunning very quaint with Victorian features. It was clean, bright, fresh and very spacious plenty of room for my family. It was great to have a separate WC & shower to the main bathroom. Well stocked kitchen. The garden was well kept and ample of off street parking, we never had a problem to park. Location of the flat was superb. A short stroll to Market Street (10-15mins max) everything really in walking distance. Jannettas 10mins . Forgans 15mins The New Inn pub next door. Old Course 10-15mins East Sand Beach is beautiful and literally behind the flat. Communication with Mari was fantastic she answered any questions promptly. If you are ever visiting St Andrews I would hight recommend staying here. We would definitely be returning. Thank you so much for a wonderful hassel free stay Mari❤️

Family Holiday

This is our second stay at the property and it is in a great location minutes from the beach and a short walk into the town centre. The garden is a great private to space to relax and enjoy the good weather with family. I would also like to highlight that Mari has provided everything you would need for the beach including chairs, blankets and picnic sets. Mari is a great host and easy to communicate with. I will look forward to returning with the family in the future and thank you Mari.

Highly recommend

We truly enjoyed staying at this property. It is well located just steps away from East Sands, parking was never an issue, the flat was clean, comfortable and had all the conveniences of home (washer/dryer were big plus!). The “extra” touches were a nice surprise including beach chairs, blankets, firewood for the backyard fire pit, and a welcome gift with some Scottish goodies. We’ll definitely rebook here for a return stay.

This property is situated in an excellent location for easy access to the beach. The garden is a great bonus and is a private outside space for sitting with family and enjoying the afternoon sunshine. This is located within easy walking distance of the town centre. I would definitely return to stay here.

We stayed at East Sands for a weekend family get together for a birthday. We had a great time!

Communication with Mari was excellent leading up to our stay. Check in was very straightforward and the hosts were very accommodating. Great location a short walk from the centre of St Andrews and not far in the car from the surrounding countryside. The property comfortably housed 4 adults and was very homely.
