Perfect for a quiet break
When researching a weeks stay on the Fife coast, we looked at dozens of properties but were drawn back to Rockslea. We were so very glad we did and I would strongly suggest you don't bother looking elsewhere, save yourself some time and just book this absolutely perfect cottage. On arrival, it was absolutely immaculately clean, very comfy beds and contained everything you could possibly want for a peaceful and relaxing break. The central heating is excellent and the cottage was lovely and warm even with the heating off. The photos of the views from the windows really don't do it justice, the sea is literally the other side of the wall and we were lucky enough to have some really windy days with rough seas and spent ages just watching the waves crash over the rocks and the harbour walls. We thoroughly loved our week in the cottage and will DEFINITELY be back although this time, we will look at coming during warmer weather so we can take advantage of the walks. We thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage, you will not be disappointed!

Just what we needed
The cottage is gorgeous, perfect for a family getaway from all the hustle and bustle of working and school life. Access with the key safe is perfect and easy, the cottage was spotless and had everything we could need. The view is amazing from every window, we loved watching the waves and even slept with the window open to listen to them crashing against the harbour wall. The residents in the village are very friendly and there are some amazing local walks with stunning scenery! We had an amazing week in this beautiful cottage, thank you so much Gus and Lindsay x

Lovely Break
We always look forward to staying at Rockslea. The house is spotlessly clean, very well equipped, beautifully furnished and provided with great quality linens. The location is wonderful - I like to sit in the bedroom dormer reading, and admiring the amazing sea view. You can open the window at night and be lulled to sleep by the gentle crash of the waves on the shore.

Great House by the sea
Great house, spotlessly clean & beautiful decor with fabulous sea views. Great costal walks & we loved the log burner. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The only downside is St.Monans is just a bit too quiet for us.
