In the heart of Snowdonia, this picturesque stone cottage has stunning views of the lake and mountains. Facing down the valley, it looks across Lake Gwynant, which is fringed with trees, to the mountains that rise from the shore. This wonderful view can be enjoyed from the fireside or from the garden.
"The archetypal stone cottage with a breathtaking view. Pantlleni gives one a sense of time standing still, it is charming & not 21st century inside, and I love it!"
Pantlleni is very much a simplistic retreat, best suited to those who truly enjoy and appreciate the history and unique charm of traditional Welsh stone cottages. You won't find the latest mod-cons or furnishings, but if you don't mind getting back to the basic necessities you will certainly find a sense of relaxation from the tranquil surroundings of this old cottage.
The holiday cottage makes a great, albeit simple base for those looking to explore the local area. Step outside and breathe in the fresh mountain air - why not pack a picnic and while away a warm summer day by the picturesque Llyn Gwynant? You could even take a paddleboard or canoe along and have a sail on the lake if you're feeling particularly adventurous!
Close to Llanberis, Capel Curig and Beddgelert, Pantlleni is perfectly placed for exploring Snowdonia by car, or for walking the many footpaths that lead to the peaks and along the valley. About half an hour's drive away are the sandy beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula; golf, horse riding and fishing are close by.
