Was a perfect location for exploring around Inverness and we even got the added surprise of seeing a red squirrel outside the kitchen window.

The hosts were lovely- excellent communication throughout. They are next door but not at all intrusive. We appreciated the milk for breakfast! The property is quiet and spacious with thoughtful decor. We would stay here again.

My 2nd time staying and that should tell you that it totally fits the bill. Donnie and Ellie are amazing hosts, there is you need them, but willing to let you be if that’s what you choose. Everything is exactly as described. I love having a place to come back after a busy day and just relax, see the cute little sheep out the window and enjoy a cup of tea and whatever fun snack we found that day. The schoolhouse is on the north side of the Kessock Bridge which keeps you out of the city central and right in the quiet country. Make sure you go visit Beauly which is just 15-20 min away and visit Robertson’s farm, and walk Reelig Glen. The Beauly priory ruins are also there and this makes for a perfect quiet day out. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, it’s really a special place.

The property owners were delightful people who were very responsive to the few questions we had. Easy access to the property just north of the Kessock Bridge on the A9, so it's a short 10 minute drive to Inverness City Centre. Plenty of room for the 4 of us (wife, 2 sons & myself) with peaceful country surroundings. Thank you Donnie & Ellie for hosting my family.

This was the cleanest VRBO I've eever stayed at. Communication with the property owners was excellent & immediate. It was well appointed with everything you would need for an extended stay. Within a quick drive from everything, but, private setting in the country just outside of Inverness. Would highly recommend.
