Bathroom: Bath, Toilet. Air source heat pump underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. . Large garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: Electric vehicle charging is prohibited.. This timber faced property was built in 2019 and sits in an elevated position overlooking Loch Dunvegan with views towards the castle. The property has a modern open plan living space taking full advantage of the outstanding views. The ground floor has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, living room with a wood burner and an open plan staircase to the first floor. There is also a separate shower room on the ground floor and the owner has thoughtfully provided complimentary toiletries. On the first floor is the comfortable master bedroom with a huge picture window overlooking the loch, a second double bedroom and a stunning bathroom. The property sits in a great sized plot and is ideal for guests wanting to escape and experience the rural lifestyle of Skye. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts or people just wanting peace and quiet. Beach 1 mile. Shop and pub 5 miles, restaurant 1 mile.

Absolutely stunning!

We had an amazing time here on our honeymoon! The hosts were so sweet and everything was perfect. Stunning views from the house - we absolutely loved the view from the main bedroom. Thanks so much!

Beautiful home with great views

Loved our stay here. Property was clean and well stocked. Views were amazing. Good location to explore skye. Only drawback is that communication was all through cabins.com so going through 2 sites for communication was difficult at first

Fantastic lodge in an idyllic position

Fantastic stay with the following tiny cons, smoke alarm detectors went off every time we used the toaster. Also a small welcome pack of bread and fresh milk would have been appreciated after a long drive, but overall a wonderful place to stay and very comfortable.

Beautiful modern cottage in a fantastic location

The cottage is very new, clean and spacious for our family of four adults. The location is fantastic with a incredibly beautiful view over the bay. The location is far out in the Scottish nature. Close to the house we saw seals, deers and rabbits. Remember to reserve lunch or dinner at "The three Chimnyes" which is close by.

We had the best time in Skye staying at 17a husabost.

We had the best time in Skye staying at 17a husabost. It was cosy and warm with all the facilities you need for a week hiking in the day and chilling/cooking in the evening. The wood burner creates a cosy atmosphere (although not necessary for heat). We experienced a beautiful red sunrise over the mountains every morning from the large bedroom window. Will definitely be back!

We spent a week at this beautiful property on Skye. The location is remote and equally stunning with spectacular views across the island. The interior is well furnished, well equipped and cozy. I would highly recommend it and will certainly visit again.

The cottage is stunning with spectacular views across Dunvegan Loch to the Cuillins in the distance. It was spotless for our arrival & we had to flip a coin to see who of the 2 couples got to sleep in the front bedroom with the picture frame window - we won! :) Our hosts John & Laura were very friendly & had left a guest book. It was nice reading through people’s comments. Skye is a beautiful place to visit & Lochliath is a great base for relaxing evenings after busy days sightseeing, photography & walking. And remember: there’s no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes!!

We were the very first guests at Maraliath and had the benefit of 'new everything'.The cottage is spotless and ticks every box and more.Very traditional on the outside and modern on the inside.The scenery from every window is simply awesome.We had a very relaxed and peaceful four days.We will definitely stay there again.
