This home fit the needs of our party of four very well, two couples. The home is large, and has a quirky ecclectic charm. The living areas are very comfortabel as is the kitchen, which made for a good stay. While we did not actively use the kitchen, we did keep food on hand for snacks and for quick breakfasts, which was very helpful. We stayed in the fall, late September. As such, we did not actively use the vast space of the yard going out to the lake. Between spending time touring Stockholm and the cooler weather, we did not have a chance to use the grounds. However, the property outside is lovely and well equipped with tables, chairs and a grill. Despite not using the outside areas, it was still lovely to view from indoors. We had an initial concern about renting a home in the suburbs when out focus was on activity in Stockholm. We were happy that we did rent this. First, it gave us room to spread out at night and relax. More important, however, there is easy public transportation into the city. There is a bus line just outside of the property, which we would take to the subway. The subway is a quick trip into the city. Fast and effecient with frequent service. So, we viewed this stay the best of all worlds; easy to get into the city while a relaxing country feel during out off hours.
