About this property

The Wooden House

Very bright house both naturally and artificially, located 5 minutes walk to the town hall square. It is decorated in a rustic and stylish way where wood is the main protagonist. It also has parking nearby.

Accommodation

The house is comfortable and cozy, distributed over two floors. From the street you enter directly into a living room open to kitchen-dining room equipped with all the basic elements such as refrigerator, microwave, hob, large pantry ... In the living room we have a room where the fireplace is the queen of the room in addition to the existing contrast of stone and wood, making a perfect combination. Through a staircase with wooden handrail, we are in a wonderful room from where we can observe the main room on the right with a double bed and views of the street, in the center you find a full bathroom and rustic, and finally on the left is a room with two single beds that leads to a terrace with a fountain, clothesline and a room where the washing machine is located. From this terrace you can enjoy beautiful views of a small forest of pinsapos and strawberry trees.

Zahara de la Sierra has a great swamp with spectacular views of it and its surroundings. It has a town hall square where a viewpoint is located at a great height to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings, with the Church of Santa María de la Mesa, we can also access the Castle Road to see everything from great heights. From this square you can access a large number of bars enjoying a great gastronomic diversity through the main street of this beautiful town.

Enchanting village.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the property. It was clean, well maintained and well stocked. We had everything we needed for our stay. The location was very convenient, central to shops, restaurants, grocery stores and historical sites. Many walks available in the village and countryside. The people are very friendly and helpful. Easy distance to other towns and points of interest. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely property.

La casa es muy acogedora y estaba muy limpia, la estancia ha sido de 10. La cocina está equipada pero no tiene horno. Tiene cafetera y tostadora, microondas también. La cama de matrimonio es bastante cómoda y las almohadas igual. El acceso a la casa es muy cómodo porque las llaves están en un cajetín y tú pones la clave que te proporciona el propietario y listo. Ha sido una muy buena estancia

la maison est super on se sent comme chez soi,quelque petits bémols cependant. Il est dit dans le descriptif que l'on peut garer la voiture devant la porte ce qui est quasi impossible vue la place disponible.(nous avons une petite voiture) au risque de se la faire accrocher à savoir aussi qu'il n'existe qu'un seul parcours en voiture pour se rendre à la maison et que celui ci passe part le centre du village qui est barré tous les week end, donc nous nous sommes garé au parking qui se trouve en bas du village.Difficile de remonter tous les bagages à pied par 30°,vue que se sont des rues en pentes très ardues.La cheminée n'avais pas été vidée,et donc on avait une odeur de cendre,chaque fois que nous rentrions.

Schönes weisses Dorf in Andalusien. Die Unterkunft ist mitten im Ort. Man wohnt direkt neben den Einwohnern und es ist alles sehr authentisch. Das Leben findet auf der Strasse statt. Die Straßen sind allerdings sehr steil und man muss schon körperlich fit sein, um es genießen zu können. Wunderbare Aussicht von der Burg, sowie eine sehenswerte Kirche. Man kann von guten Tapas bis zu erstklassigen Gerichten, alles bekommen. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Der Charme der Pubelos Blancos - Charming Pueblos Blancos

Wir haben drei Nächte Ende März im Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist optimal, um Wanderungen in der Sierra de Grazalema zu starten und den Abend am Kamin mit gutem Essen und Wein ausklingen zu lassen. Rustikal romantisches Ambiente. We spent three nights in the end of march. Ideal starting point for hiking tours. You can spend the evenings in front of the fireplace with good wine and food. If you love romantic and country-style vacation, you´ll love the house!

A wonderful town house glowing despite its darkness

We stayed in the Casita de madera for two months from January to March, i.e. during some of the coldest months of the year. The open fireplace contributes a lot to the cosiness factor but as a heating mechanism is not that efficient, so very glad there was also an electric radiator, which in the coldest weeks was struggling to keep us warm. But it is a very cozy house with everything you need, except an oven. It is dark, especially this time of the year, where the sun does not catch it at all until late February. However, we loved staying there and any issues, such as the lack of proper kitchen knives, were resolved almost instantly, and the communication with the host very smooth and prompt. Family members and the very nice cleaning lady made sure that we had no problems and gave advice on the area. The area is lovely with very nice and helpful neighbours. Parking is not even a problem, you are usually able to find spaces at the bottom of the street. The local shops can provide most necessities and if not Ronda is not far away. The design and all the wood work, hence the wooden house, oozes of top quality craftsmanship. We would definitely stay there any time again, but ended up buying our own house just up the road!

Lovely traditional house in quiet street

Lovely old house, very comfortable for 4 people. So close to the middle of the village and we parked easily about 100metres away. It was very quiet and well equipped. Don’t rely on google maps to find it, they have the street directions wrong so it took some time to find whilst driving.
