My husband and I booked the Log Cabin for a getaway trip to Mackinaw. Before booking we contacted the host to be sure no one else would be renting the Cottage during our stay. The Cottage is located on the property with the Cabin. The Cottage is not rented to others if you don't reserve both.A week before our trip we invited our son and daughter-in-law to join us. They stayed in the Cottage. Both rentals are clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The property grounds were maintained. There were relaxing places to sit on the front porch as well as the gazebo by the stream. A fun little play house for children was also outside. This is the perfect place for a couples getaway and a family vacation.Invite others to join you and book the Cottage as well. Driving to Mackinac city was a short 10 minutes away. The Host replied to our questions within minutes. You won't find the privacy, amenities, and comfort anywhere else while staying near Mackinaw City.

So glad you enjoyed your stay at our cabin and guest house!
Thank you for being such wonderful guests and please stay again if you ever revisit the area!!
Home was one of the best stocked homes we have rented in regards to kitchen supplies. It was wonderfully secluded but yet still close to activities and ships. Host was helpful with information and hosting regarding location, access, etc.
It provided us exactly what we needed after being out all day exploring. A warm cozy clean place to come back to each night. It was very clean and the picture on the web site are an accurate display of the property again. We would go back again.
3 couples stayed for a night- cooked steak dinner. It was such a quiet, beautiful property- loved the screened gazebo next to the stream. We had everything we needed and would def come back.
Quiet, clean and private. Plenty of space for our family. Beautiful yard and surroundings. Easy commute to mackinaw city and was a quiet, cool retreat after our busy days. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful, peaceful and very Homie feel ! Every amenity we needed. Just wish I had opened the garage earlier to see bicycles chairs and even a grill

Hi Marty,
Thank you for the kind comments about our home.
The third paragraph in our description (There is plenty of parking for cars, trailers and snowmobiles as well as use of the 2 car detached garage…where you will find a barbeque and lawn chairs.) informs people of these amenities.
Sorry you were unaware until you were leaving and hopefully next time you'll be able to leave us 5 stars.
Perfectly appointed, clean, well decorated, beautiful setting! This vacation home was an ideal family reunion location for our visit. The property owner communicated quickly, clearly & kindly to make our experience easy. We hope to make a return visit! Thank you so much to the property owners!
I could have fallen asleep listening to the brook ,very nice had a great experience ,Love the place . Very well equipped plenty of firewood. Will try to stay there again for sure!
We loved being able to stay here for a week. The property was beautiful and fun to explore. The cabin is beautifully maintained and was very clean. It had extra thoughtful touches that made it easier to stay and was right in the middle of shopping and being out in nature so we could take in the stars and get a pizza at the same time.
We loved your cabin! The house is beautiful, cozy, and convenient. The stream behind the house, the woods, Lake Huron just across the road: all perfect. Thank you very much for such a great experience!
