Steps to the Beach, Beautiful, Clean 1 Bedroom Condo D-209

Mary and I found we really enjoy Maui, and decided to purchase this condo in Kihei in March of 2017. Our condo was recently remodeled - new floors, cabinets and granite countertops. The bathroom was done as well, with a nice walk-in shower.

Kihei Bay Vista is a wonderful property. It is located in Kihei, Maui, just steps from the ocean. It has a pool and hot tub, gas grills for your use as well as an outdoor dining area. This property is one of the great finds for the price in Kihei. There are only 60 units and 2 stories, and all are 1 bedroom so the property has a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. We have many repeat guests. Kihei Bay Vista is just across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and a very long stretch of beach. Windsurf, Whale watch, walk the beach and enjoy unbelievable sunsets. There is an archeologically important "fish pond" adjoining the beach, that is essentially a protected area that is perfect for kids (and big turtles!) Kihei Bay Vista is centrally located to shops, restaurants, activities and is a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Our complex took advantage of the downtime during the covid event and repainted the exterior and installed a new roof on our building.

Our condo, D-209 is a spacious 1 BR 1 Bath condo that has a fully equipped kitchen, front loading washer & dryer, 2 cable flat screen TVs, 2 DVD players, free wireless internet and comfortable, updated furnishings. There is a hard line phone that you can use for both local calls, and for calls to mainland US and Canada. There is a keyless electronic lock on the door that allows 24 hour access without assistance. The unit is immaculate and has beautiful bamboo hardwood and tile flooring throughout. The kitchen has been recently remodeled including all new appliances, custom cabinetry and beautiful granite counter tops. The renovated bathroom has a large tiled walk-in shower and a granite top vanity. For your comfort there is a King size bed in the bedroom and Queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. It can accommodate up to 4 people. This quiet upstairs unit has the advantage of high vaulted ceilings giving a more airy feel. Our condominium has 2 air conditioners (air conditioning in the living room, and a new, smaller air conditioner in the bedroom) and ceiling fans. Enjoy the private covered lanai. Included for you as our guest is free parking, use of the sparkling clean pool, jacuzzi, outside sand shower, poolside dining area & BBQ grills. An assortment of beach gear are yours to use during your stay. Kalepolepo Beach is right across the street and it is a short walk to Sugar Beach, one of the longest continuous stretch's of beach on Maui.

*Update - Our complex pool and hot tub will be closed from June 3 thru June 21. This is for pool and deck re surfacing. We recently lowered our prices to account for this issue. On another note, the beach is right across the street! Also, there is a very nice county pool, available free of charge, a short distance from our condo.
