Welcome to Green Creek Retreat, a private mountain home ideally located between historic Cody and the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Set against the breathtaking Absaroka Mountain Range, this scenic property offers panoramic views and the peaceful sounds of Green Creek flowing right through the land. Perfectly positioned about 30 minutes from both Cody and Yellowstone, this retreat allows you to explore the best of the region while enjoying a quiet, wildlife rich setting.

Inside, the spacious open floor plan features wood flooring throughout and newly updated furnishings and amenities for elevated comfort. The fully equipped kitchen and generous dining area make gathering easy for families and groups. The living room centers around a cozy wood burning fireplace with direct access to the backyard. The primary bedroom includes a queen bed, stunning mountain views, and an attached bath with walk in shower. Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed overlooking the private backyard, while Bedroom 3 features two twin beds that are perfect for kids. A second full bathroom with tub and shower combination serves the additional bedrooms, and a sofa sleeper in the living room allows space for up to seven guests.

Step outside to experience multiple outdoor living spaces designed to take full advantage of the views and fresh mountain air. The front patio showcases unobstructed Absaroka mountain vistas, while the large, fully fenced backyard provides a beautifully landscaped green space ideal for families, pets, and outdoor games. Enjoy seating areas, a charcoal grill, and direct trail access to the creek. Wildlife such as mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, fox, coyote, and a variety of birds are frequent visitors, making every stay feel uniquely Wyoming. Please note that Yellowstone's East Entrance is closed to regular vehicle traffic from November 1 through May 1, with winter access available by guided snowcoach or snowmobile tours.

Green Creek Retreat

The home was spacious and clean. We had everything we needed for our stay, except for food and personal items. The views were incredible on almost all sides. We did not need to contact the property owners as they provided all the information we needed prior to our stay. The home is about 30 minutes outside of Cody, which was perfect for us because it was close to great hikes.

Beautiful dog friendly house near Yellowstone.

This house was in a great location with a fantastic back yard complete with swing and the beautiful sound of rushing water. The renting company Cody Lodging was awesome and very responsive when there was a forest fire down the road giving us an alternate place to stay should we choose to leave. Really nice living space and neighbors.

Amazing home in the mountains

We can’t say enough about our stay in this wonderful home! It really felt like home to us for the three weeks we stayed. Sitting on the front porch looking at the mountains every day was amazing. Saw a beautiful double rainbow one afternoon. We were regularly visited by deer, a fox, rabbit and lots of birds. It’s a beautiful drive to Yellowstone, only about 40 minutes away. We saw a grizzly and her 2 cubs driving there one day! The house was extremely clean which we really appreciated. Loved the back patio as well. Communicating with property management was very easy and we didn’t have any issues while staying there. We’re already planning a trip back!

Plenty of room for a family of 7 plus Fido. Pet friendly flooring and fenced back yard. Beautiful views. Space in the kitchen for food. The outdoor space is phenomenal. Updated bathrooms. Comfortable beds, though a bit soft in the master. Pull through driveway. The water is good, though they also provide filtered water. Each room has space for a twin sized air matress, FYI. Plenty of extra bedding and towels. My only suggestion would be towels specifically for Fido as it rained for most of our stay. I LOVED that the laundry detergent is fragrance free so the linens weren't fragranced, which gives me headaches. Other perks were the bear spray in the closet, and minimal decor and furnishings making living and packing up easy. Thank you!

Excellent House & Setting

The house was clean & well-equipped, one of the best we’ve stayed in. Its an easy drive into Cody for groceries/stores/museum, and a longer drive of about an hour & 15 mins to get to Fishing Bridge in the Park. We knew it was a longer drive into the Park than you can get from other entrances, but we wanted a quieter setting & this place delivered. We loved capping our evenings out on the deck & then looking at stars after dark. The property manager was terrific— great communication before we arrived.

Relaxing at Yellowstone

We are retired empty-nesters on an epic cross country road trip with our pups and stayed at this lovely home for a few days at YNP. We always appreciate at place where our dogs can relax and stretch their legs and this home has a fully fenced backyard which was a real treat for them.The home itself is clean and comfortable- fully sticked with thoughtful amenities. The pictures and description are completely accurate. The neighborhood is quiet and you can explore either the town of Cody or the park— neither is a long drive. The 360deg views from this home are stunning. Our hosts were very thoughtful and great communicators.
