Welcome to Don's Place, a charming cabin nestled creek-side at the base of Table Mountain in beautiful Wapiti, WY. This property is perfect for those traveling through Yellowstone that want to lodge and recreate in the privacy and serenity of the country. The cabin offers stunning views, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, laundry, and plenty of both indoor and outdoor space to kick back after a long day of sightseeing or hunting.

Versatile in it's utility, this cabin has something for everyone. There's space for 7 people and even horses, too! It offers a 500 square foot loft with it's own half bathroom, a newly renovated bathroom on the main floor, a cozy open living room, a beautiful stone fireplace, and an open concept kitchen, divided by a mahogany bar with stools for 7. There's a large front deck and second floor balcony with spectacular mountain views. For hunters there's adequate space for several horses, ATVs, and outdoor plumbing specifically installed to facilitate game processing.

20 miles east of the cabin is historic Cody, WY where you will find a wide variety of shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, fishing and rafting companies, and historic landmarks and attractions.

We could not have picked a better place to stay! The only downfall was having to leave so soon. We felt it was conveniently located to both Cody and the East entrance of Yellowstone. The home was beautiful and had everything we could have needed. The owners were wonderful at communicating and making us feel at home. The views were beautiful and it was so quiet and peaceful. I hope to stay again!

Gorgeous place

We loved our stay! It has a hiking trail nearby but you can just sit on the porch to enjoy the views. There were many nice touches on our stay and there us a baby swing and pack and play for the littles.

Nice spot to relax.

The house was about 30 miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone and a great place to stop before we went to Rapid City and the Black Hills tourist spots. The mountain view’s were beautiful.

Great Place to Stay!

Spent a few days here in October. A quick drive away from Cody, and an hour or so to Yellowstone. Beautiful views from the cabin with a nice hike at the end of the dirt road. This cabin has everything you need, and the owners made the process very easy and welcome. 10/10, Would stay again!

Yellowstone Getaway

Such a nice cabin to spend an evening after a day in the Park. We only stayed one night but would consider it again as it's close to Yellowstone. The Cabin was great for our family of 7. Very clean and easy to use. Host communication was excellent, they kept us up to date on everything and responded quickly. The amenities provided were an added bonus, and the stargazing was amazing!

Cozy cabin with beautiful views

Our family enjoyed our time at Don's Place. It's a nice little property with a creek that runs through the backyard. The home had comfortable beds and clean linens. The kitchen was small and had the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed using the gas grill and cooking out on the spacious front deck. The views are amazing!

Father-Son Cross Country Drive

Happiness in Tranquil Paradise

Don’s Place exceeded all expectations. The owners were kind enough to allow my group to check in early. There was plenty of supplies that we almost didn’t need to buy anything. There’s plenty of space and there’s a beautiful stream that can be heard from both porches. I will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous Place = Fabulous Time

Was the perfect getaway. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Hope to be back again at a different season. Highly recommend staying here if you like proximity to nature and gathering around the kitchen bar to play games or sit on deck/loft and read and nap. Can't think of a bad thing to say!

We moved to Cody, WY from Boston, MA in 2013 after a lifetime of desire for a quieter and more adventurous lifestyle. Wanting to live somewhere where every weekend was what we described as our dream vacation, we came upon this beautiful valley and it was love at first sight. Now that we have started a family and moved back to Cody proper we want to share our dream home in the mountains with guests traveling to this beautiful northwest corner of Wyoming for the same reasons we did.

What makes this property unique

Green Creek runs through the property adding to the serenity of the cabin. The sunsets viewed from the back of the property looking toward Yellowstone is a sight that is unmatched. There are scores of trail heads and fishing access points conveniently located from the cabin in all directions.
