Poniente Almáchar by Ruralidays

Holiday home located above the slopes created by river El Borge, 3 km from the village of Almáchar province of Malaga, Andalucia.

17 km separate this house from the beach of Rincon de la Victoria; this allows you to combine beach tourism in an authentic village of the Costa del Sol with rural tourism in the mountains of Almáchar.

The holiday home is distributed onto two floors, which are characterised by spacious rooms that let you enjoy your loved ones' company. In the villa, you will find six bedrooms, two with a double bed each and the other four with two single beds each. The holiday home is also provided with a spacious living room and kitchen, as well as two bathrooms with shower. Among the amenities, the fireplace, dishwasher, oven, freezer, and WIFI stand out.

Outside, there is a fabulous private pool and a BBQ; from the terraces, you will delight with splendid views of the mountains and several villages of the Axarquia. The pool is provided with a 2-mt-high temporary fence during the winter months, while it is open from the end of April until the end of September. However, please check with a booking agent if the pool is available during your stay.

The access to the house is possible via a 50-mt unpaved lane.

The owner accepts groups of young people, subject to an extra deposit of 200€.

Enjoyable stay in the hills

We were family and friends (10 in total) so having six bedrooms especially twin rooms was great. The pool was spot on and there were a few dishwasher tablets available for us. Would have been lovely if beds made ahead of arrival and extra sheets for sofa as sometimes people just needed a break from their roommate. The drive is fine, after one go at it! Honestly it isn’t as bad as maybe you think if you take steady. Could do with enough wine glasses and mugs for ten people but fans in each room very helpful. We had an issue with electric tripping with washing machine but every time we messaged the owner he would come and help and even got a new machine for us. Very peaceful area which we loved.

Estuvimos un fin de semana 4 parejas con niños, muy agusto, la casa tiene 3 habitaciones en cada planta muy amplias, con un baño completo en casa una de ellas, el comedor así como las diferentes zonas exteriores también son amplias lo que está genial para que los niños jueguen, solo hay que tener cuidado con las escaleras para los más pequeños aunque es fácil bloquear el acceso. La cocina está muy bien equipada, la propiedad completamente vallada así como la piscina fuera de la temporada de uso. Por poner una pega el acceso es un bastante empinado lo que puede resultar complicado para conductores no experimentados aunque la mayor parte del camino está encementado. Pepe el casero os puede facilitar leña para la barbacoa o la chimenea con lo cual no hay que preocuparse de buscarla fuera. También nos facilito una trona y cuna.

Ein Kühlschrank wäre im Grillbereich neben dem Pool willkommen, damit Sie nicht ständig Treppen steigen müssen, um in die Küche im Obergeschoss zu gelangen. Es lohnt sich wirklich

El acceso para conductores noveles un poco complicado, la casa genial, grande espaciosa y muy tranquila, se echa de menos algo de juegos para los niños por si hace malos dias y no se puede disfrutar de la piscina, en nuestro caso fueron los 3 primeros y los niños se aburrieron bastante, un futbolin, un billar una mesa de ping-pong, por poner algún ejemplo ya que espacio hay de sobra, el equipamiento de la casa super completo, hay de todo lo que necesitas para el dia a dia, la televisión deberia ser un poco más grande de pantalla y hemos echado en falta algún multiplicador para poder enchufar la nintendo o una play por ejemplo, el dueño genial, muy amable y gentil, tuvimos un pequeño problema con las bombillas y la ducha y lo soluciono muy rápido, volveriamos a repetir sin duda.

Wij waren met twee gezinnen in de herfstvakantie. De indeling van het huis met drie slaapkamers + badkamer beneden en dezelfde indeling boven was perfect. Veel ruimte in en om het huis. Prachtige rustige ligging met heerlijk uitzicht vanuit het zwembad. De barbecue onder de overkapping hebben we veel gebruikt. Het pad vanaf de weg naar het huis is nogal stijl maar goed te doen. In de omgeving heb je wel echt een huurauto nodig. Prima centrale ligging bij de zee, tussen de mooie witte dorpjes in de omgeving. Kleine winkel in Almachar, grote supermarkten op 25min rijden. Dit huis is zeker een aanrader maar de matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe. Nog een beetje opknappen en het is perfect.
