Undeniably adorable, Latitude Adjustment Beach House is a celebration of authentic coastal North Carolina cottage-style island living. Located on Pleasure Island, home to Kure and Carolina Beach, the house has been lovingly decorated with nostalgic beachy charm and a touch of Caribbean flair. Latitude Adjustment offers a relaxing coastal experience where visitors may enjoy warm summer afternoons with friends and family. Located a block from the beach, a lazy, 28 second stroll finds your feet in the sand as you take in the spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean. Just 20 minutes from Wilmington, this seaside cottage features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath for the perfect beach getaway.

This bottom unit of this beach duplex cottage features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. (Please note- this is for the BOTTOM only. The top is used by our family.) Each bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with linens included, a nice size walk-in closet and full size dresser as well as a flat screen TV.

The comfortable living room has a queen size sleeper sofa for those extra friends or family who may join you on your visit to Pleasure Island. Sit in one of the comfortable recliners and enjoy a movie or sports game on the large flat screen TV!

Latitude Adjustment comes with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking up your favorite meals! Fully relax while sitting on the front porch and listening to the waves. The weather at Kure Beach is mild almost year round which means you'll get a lot of beach time! The short walk to the beach is made even easier with the public access for easy entry. If you have an afternoon thunderstorm, there is a flat screen TV, DVD player, wireless internet and plenty of fun family board games.

If your idea of vacation doesn't include cooking, you are only a 10 minute walk to the Kure Beach Pier where you can enjoy a fabulous Italian meal at Freddie's, a scrumptious seafood dinner at Big Daddy's, drinks and your favorite sports game at Jack Mackerel's, or a good 'ole burger or shrimp po' boy the Kure Beach Diner. Stop over at the Kure Beach Pier after dinner and get an ice cream cone, do some shopping or enjoy an evening stroll on the pier. Be sure to bring your bikes as well! You can ride your bike to Fort Fisher and explore, catch the ferry and bike around Southport or ride into Carolina Beach and visit the Saturday morning Farmers Market.

My family had a great time at this location! It was decorated very tastefully and had all the necessary amenities for my wife and two sons to cook meals and wind down after a day at the beach. The outdoor area was immaculately maintained and I would certainly stay here again. Check-in was also seamless and the property owner reached out to ensure everything went well with our arrival.

We had a great time. The cottage was quaint and cute. It had everything we needed for our stay. We were only a 2-3 minute walk from the beach. We were also near the pier and restaurants.

Amazing, quiet location just a block or two from the beach! Just the right amount of space for our family of four, with a great outdoor area in back. We were able to walk to the beach during the day and to the pier for dinner at night. Host is friendly and prompt in communication. We would happily stay again!

Great place for a long weekend getaway. My parents, my sister, her granddaughter and I stayed three nights. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Bathroom can get a bit in demand with four adults and a toddler but we managed. Comfortable and open living room kitchen design.

The value is good for the area. About 2 blocks to the beach and easy drive to shopping and fantastic Dining in Kure Beach and Carolina Beach. There is a Publix close for reasonable priced groceries (as reasonable as it is now). No doubt, I'll be staying at Latitude Adjustment again.

Kure Beach is the best!

Love this quiet beach town. To be fair, we visited in late March but I’m guessing it’s often just as mellow. Fantastic place to stay, 1 block off the beach. So much light but also very cozy for our one rain day. Filled with all the amenities listed on the posting. It was an extra bonus to be close to the center of town. We were able to walk to restaurants and the boardwalk swings— especially nice with a good book. Some other recs: Soulflavor in CB Breakfast at Ocean View Celtic Creamery A walk around Fort Fisher We hope to return!!
