Nice place. Could have used more towels and toilet paper!
Checking in and out was very easy. There were a couple of elevators which made it easy to bring luggage up and down. The apartment was quite spacious with 2 large bedrooms and the sitting area has a beautiful view to Galway Bay. Listening to the buskers sing on the promenade as I cooked dinner was a highlight!
It had large rooms, but the apartment was showing its age. There is no AC. The rooms smelled a little old. The views were good when the weather was good.
Beautiful view and great location, right next to main road and very busy area so there was alot of noise in the morning. other than that which was minor it was a great place!
I thought the property was good - spotlessly clean, comfortable and with big rooms. There was everything there that was needed, beds were comfortable and furniture was of a good quality. Decor was modern. Common areas were also spotlessly clean and there was a good amount of private parking - we always managed to find a space. Location was very good - and although the road was rather noisy, I accepted that was the trade off for such a convenient and central location - with a bus stop outside! Check in was easy and we initially had a problem with the T V. Which was dealt with promptly and efficiently. However the apartment all felt a bit minimalist. Just a couple of pictures on the walls , a few more cushions, artificial plants or something would make it feel less bare. The glasswear, crockery and cutlery was also rather limited; there were only two of us had there been more it would have been tedious having to keep washing things up. But, overall, good value for money.
Our stay in Galway featured an adjacent location at Galway Bay. We had quick access to taking a walk on the bay, and a few shops were nearby. It was brief but at a nice location and accommodations.
The locale is superb, within walking distance of the towns restaurants and pubs. The apartment overlooks the sea and swimming for those brave souls is easily possible across the road. Walks along the promenade are great.
