About this property

"The QUEEN" New, fancy and relaxing. Beach & WIFI

"THE QUEEN" is an apartment decorated in a very practical and functional way, with all the comforts. It is located next to the beach of Malvarrosa.

To the right of the hall, we find the master bedroom with a double bed (150cmx190cm) and a large built-in wardrobe.
There is a direct access to a small patio where you can tend outdoors. It has a folding clothesline.
The next room is the second bedroom, with two single beds of 90cmx190cm and a wardrobe.

At the end of the hall is the kitchen, spacious and modern, equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, extractor hood, and kettle (kettel), washing machine, dishwasher, and the thermos, which is electric .

The bathroom has a large shower, sink, toilet and bidet. It has a practical hair dryer.

And finally, there is the living-dining room. There is a table with 4 chairs with capacity for 6 people, and convertible for 8 people. A comfortable 4-seater sofa and a chez-loungue where you can relax while reading a good book or have a glass of wine.


In the apartment there is an iron and ironing board. There is a travel cot. It has WIFI. And it has air conditioning unit with heat pump.




LOCATION

“THE QUEEN” is in front of the Malvarrosa beach.
It is the quintessential urban beach of Valencia. Of all the beaches in Valencia, the Malvarrosa is usually the busiest during the summer in Valencia because of its proximity to the city.
It is a beach of fine golden sand, it has a very lively appearance both on the beach, for the quality and quantity of services it offers and on the promenade that delimits it, whose construction began in 1980, and houses restaurants and cafeterias. It has lifeguard stations and an area adapted for the bathroom of people with reduced mobility.
Due to its proximity and open space, many activities are usually held.
Every year La Malvarrosa Beach in Valencia hosts an air festival, held in front of the promenade, and involving plans from all over Spain, international, and the air army. In addition to the wind festival that every year brings together hundreds of people who enjoy flying kites of different shapes and colors.


The center of Valencia is 6 km away and there are 9 bus lines that will take you easily.

Lovely apartment

This apartment has everything we needed for our three weeks in Valencia. Very clean. Close to the area we like the best of the beach and easy travel into the city by bus, tram and underground. Lots of good places to eat out our favourite La Mona very close by.

Very good apartment.

Perfect Base!!

We really enjoyed staying in this spaceous appartment. Close to metro & beach therefore ideal as a base for combined city / beach trip. Bike rental is very close by and so much fun!!

Good location

This was a good spot to stay to explore Valencia. It was an excellent spot for beach access. It was a bit odd that other towels and sheets were left drying in the living room during out stay

Convenient Family Friendly

We took our family to Valencia for some time at the beach and a quick trip to the Old Town. We were able to walk to the beach, find great restaurants, and hop on the tram to visit the Old Town. Great experience overall.

Best stay I've had

I'm impressed with the courtesy I received from the moment I booked the trip to the end of my stay. Our host was on top of all the details and made sure my stay was a pleasant one. I absolutely enjoyed the apartment, the cleanliness, the proximity to the beach, bus, taxis, and local food. Everything was listed accurately and I had no issues getting around. I absolutely recommend this apartment. It will feel like your home away from home. This vacation was truly heaven on earth!

The property was what we expected based on the listing. We appreciate that it was clean and sanitary. The location was excellent. We enjoyed the Bodega La Pascuala next door. What was missing was basic and essential things in the kitchen - salt, pepper and oil; instant coffee, paper towels. I think that having these essentials are added comforts to your guests especially if the stay is more than 3 nights/4 days. One last thing ... the towels were rough and we saw towels in the clothes hanger covered by plastic. It was clean but it was exposed to the external elements of dust in the air. We can only assume that that's how our towels were. I know that drying clothes in a clothes hanger is typical in Spain but having anything exposed for more than a day is borderline acceptable.

The Host was nice and the property is in a very nice location near the beach. The temperature control in the apartment was great and the hot water pressure was great. But…the property was not as clean as it seems in the pictures. I had to sponge and clean the place (even though everyone has to pay 60 extra euros cash for cleaning that’s not included in the VRBO cost). I killed more than 10 bugs there over 3 nights, including a roach. The shower is super small (impossible to not touch a wall). I was charged 10 euros for being an hour late (which is fair), but then I spent more than an hour with the host and internet company trying to fix their internet causing me to delay having dinner with family. The phone number of the main contact was also printed incorrectly in the literature so when I got there, I wasted 30 minutes trying to track down someone to let me in. (The Host did email me the correct number the night before but I had lost data and was unable to retrieve the email so had to rely on the information provided earlier). Also unlike almost all other properties I’ve rented, there were no little pluses like a coffee pot, paper towel roll, toiletries like bath soap or shampoo, snacks, etc which might be normal is Spain but something I’ve never experienced before. It’s very no frills…which is fine but just be prepared.

Expedient flat near the beach in simple neighborhood

Mercadona, Bus, City train, beach, bodega, bike rental-all in the near and accessible by walk. Flat is clean, with useful air-condition and has all necessary for breakfast and cooking. We have recovered a little within four nights.

A well-equipped flat very close to the beach

A clean, well-proportioned flat with a well-equipped kitchen. The beach is a five-minute walk away. The City of Arts and Sciences and central Valencia are further away by public transport, which took a bit of figuring out. The property owner is friendly and helpful.

Nice apartment close to the beach

Good apartment for a small family with separate bedroom for the kids. Practical and simple furniture, but some quite worn. Walking distance to the beautiful beaches and easy public transport connections to the city center. The view from the window at the traditional Easter processions just in front of our house was spectacular and highly recommended. Very friendly service from the rental office before and during the trip.

Clean apartment with easy check-in

This was a great apartment near the beach in Valencia and the hosts were easy to communicate with prior arrival and were prompt and efficient with check-in procedures. If you are looking for a clean, spacious spot close to the beach in Valencia, I would highly recommend this location. As a first time visitor to Valencia, it was a bit difficult for me to catch a cab close to this side of the city. So if you want to stay near the beach AND have better access to the city center, I would advise becoming better versed on public transportation options than I was ahead of my own stay.

Perfect Summer Holidays

Nice air conditioned Holiday flat, near to the beach and well connetected to public transport (bus and light rail / metro). The equipment was complete and functional. We could always reach the host and he was really motivied to clarify all isses (we identified a defect device at weekend and the host was organising short term support without relevant impact on our holiday times). Finally, Valencia is a City everybodie should have seen. In combination with this flat it is a clear recommendation. We would do it again...Many thanks!

Very Poor experience

Poor check in process unable to access property with ease and it took ages to gain access. Misrepresented on VRBO site with regard to location and ‘terrace’ which was not a terrace, but a tiny square piece of concrete surrounded by walls. Not at all what we thought we were going into, resulting in us having to find alternative accommodation for our weeks stay in Valencia.

Dulce y Felipe han sido encantadores, en todo momento pendientes de nuestras necesidades. Cuidan hasta el mas mínimo detalle, unos días antes dennuestra llegada, recibimos un dosier por mail con información útil del alojamiento, del barrio y denla ciudad. En cuanto al apartamento, tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda, la ubicación es buena, a 100 metros del paseo maritimo y con aparcamiento en la puerta (hay un descampado enorme en frente de la puerta de entrada. La limpieza es sobresaliente. Sin duda repetiremos! Gracias Dulce, ha sido un placer conocerte.
