All Seasons Home perfect for large family gatherings - walk to everything!

This 5 bedroom 6 bathroom, 2800 sq ft house is just the perfect place for a large or multi family get away. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. This unique home has so much to be desired and we did not leave anything out. A new custom kitchen was installed May 2017 along with all brand new furnishings including bedrooms, mattress, TV, dressers, all appliances, washer/dryer and more. The house offers games, books, toys, wifi and more to keep your family entertained. Please play and have fun. The house includes all bedding, towels and even a few extra's to make sure your stay is the best ever. Forget something- don't worry, we know it happens which is why we hope you enjoy your welcome home basket which contains many of the "little things." Be the first to book and stay at this amazing home. The house is best known to the locals as the "church" because it was once the local church which was converted into a one of a kind "retreat" that we call The Haven. The property is located in the center of town, walk to beach, restaurants, shopping, amusement park and more. Lets not forget about the fishing and hunting.. The Turning Stone casino is a short drive away as well as golf and other amenities. In the winter we welcome ice fishing groups along with snow mobile groups. The driveway can hold multiple cars and sleds as we are on a double lot. The laundry room boasts large counters to dry your equipment, helmets and gear. We are excited to have you and look forward to hearing from you.

Amazingly large, ample space for all.

Our family group of nine had a lovely stay at the Haven. Rhonda is a very responsive host and the property had something for everyone. Easy walk to beach and town, stay and play or simply relax. Everyone loved having their own bathroom. Highly recommend!

Memorial Weekend

We were in the area for a family memorial service. Our immediate family stayed at The Haven and we loved it! There was so much for the kids to do and the adults enjoyed playing pool. This was the perfect spot for the weekend for our family!

Stay for a military funeral

We had a really nice stay at this property. Host was super helpful and location was perfect. We were a few blocks from beach. We were up in this area for a family member’s military funeral/celebration of life. Property was perfect for our needs.

The Haven is a beautiful and spacious rental. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom plus a community bathroom as well. The Haven came stocked with all the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom supplies one may need, which was great! Plenty of space for parking and a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Overall, a great place to stay!

Great lodging for multi generational/multi family retreats

We came to Sylvan Beach for a family reunion. 8 of us stayed at this converted church. It quickly became the gathering point for the larger family group. Great open kitchen for prep and serving. Plenty of room to indoor or outdoor dining. Ample parking. The hosts were very responsive to the minor needs we had during our stay. We'd stay again!

Family in town for wedding reception.

We were looking for something with four bedrooms with separate bathrooms and this place was perfect. We had family from three different states, so the open concept was was very good for us. Easy walk to downtown and the beaches, we even walked to Verona Beach State Park one day. This worked for our family!

Perfect stay for a fishing trip

10 of us stayed for 4 days for a bass tournament. Plenty of room, and exactly what we were looking for. The parking situation was a huge bonus, given that we had several trucks & boats. Rhonda was responsive to questions and very nice. We will definitely be looking to stay again next year when we fish Oneida.

Sylvan Beach

Very spacious property. Huge open area family room with an updated kitchen was ideal for socializing. The pool table was a bonus. Having 5 bedrooms, although cottage like, each had their own bathroom which offered convenience and privacy. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach was terrific. We would book a return stay.

Amazing plaxe

Great place to stay in a great area with a ton to do in walking distance. They have it set up with towel and garbage bags dishes pans towels , all the little things you sometimes overlook when packing they had for you . Host was very responsive and was a great spot to reconnect with people. The pool table and sectional couches with TVs and massive kitchen were great .

I am self employed and own a not for profit, Equity First Foundation where we focus on helping families that have experienced a "life event" get back on their feet. Our clients have lost spouses, children, have been disabled in an accident, our returning Veterans.

This retreat house is a way to give "peace" back to some of the families we serve. They have been devastated and need some time to relax and grieve or cope.

Every time you stay at our home, proceeds go directly to fund our initiatives and programs. If you book 5 or more days we will offer a tax receipt for $500 - the amount that will go to the programs.

Why they chose this property

We are a unique home that has great history. It is a 5 bedroom, 6 bath house that can fully accommodate large groups. The appliances, furnishing and technology are all up to date. We offer free wifi. This is a all seasons home that is great in winter for hunting, ice fishing and snow mobiling.
