Located on the desirable leafy Georgian square called The Buttlands in Wells-next-the-Sea, stylish Casamaria seamlessly blends historic features with contemporary comforts, to offer a popular base right in the heart of the bustling little seaside town. With plenty of space for all to spread out, Casamaria suits a variety of groups and families, visiting at any time of year.

On the ground floor, the beautiful sitting room is styled with a rustic seaside feel, making it a welcome retreat to relax in after a day exploring, and the additional snug offers a television and games, meaning there is plenty of space for a group to spread out. The good-sized kitchen features plenty of worktop space and modern appliances for rustling up delicious meals. With a lovely breakfast table at one end, this is a great spot for gathering together in the morning to plan the day ahead. Seating for seven is offered around the table in the dining room, which enjoys view across the attractive Buttlands area. A family bathroom is conveniently located on this floor featuring a bath and separate shower. A charming sun porch with seating for two guests and a door to the enclosed garden completes this floor.

Upstairs on the first floor, four inviting bedrooms are presented. With views over the Buttlands, the master bedroom hosts a super-king bed, with a king-size bed in bedroom two, and double beds in the further two bedrooms. These rooms are served by a family bathroom with a bath. For when the sun is shining, there is a barbecue provided outside in the enclosed south facing courtyard garden.

Casamaria benefits from easy access to restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. Two excellent gastropubs, The Crown and The Globe are just a very short walk away. For good coffee and lighter bites, BANG in Wells is approximately five minutes walk away. Bike hire is also nearby at Wells Bike Hire, with e-bikes available to hire from Cockle Bay Hire.

Excellent Holiday Stay

Fabulous home very well decorated and i especially like the fact it is carpeted as so many Holiday stays are to cold feeling with no carpet in most rooms . Lovely clean and spacious My only negative comment would be that the Mattress in the main bedroom has really seen better days pans is way to soft which has caused back ache Location is spot on a shame you can’t use te garden behind as dogs needed to go out every morning and night on to Green

Great Holiday

Lovely cottage in superb position. Just a couple of little niggle. One shower downstairs for potentially eight people not really good enough. Light at bottom of stairs needs to be higher up, my 6ft son kept banging his head. A chair in the small back room would have been nice. Otherwise facilities and little touches made stay fantastic.

Lovely house!

I booked Casamaria to celebrate my 80th birthday. The house was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for visiting family members. It’s in a brilliant location, ideal for the shops in Wells and a short walk to the quay. We had a lovely meal in the Crown, which I thoroughly recommend. All in all a perfect choice for us.

Family weekend pre Christmas gathering

Stayed at Casamaria the weekend before Christmas with nephews and nieces. The house is lovely and has plenty of room. The kitchen is great for family meals, didn't need to use the dining room. Kitchen is well equipped. The lounge is spacious and comfortable, the little snug is ideal if you've young ones they could play in there and watch their own TV. Nice utility room for wet boots and walking clothes. The Christmas tree, cake and bottle of wine was a nice touch. Just a few negative points and even then they're minor. There's only 1 shower , which is in the downstairs bathroom, not an issue for us but may be for some. Both bathrooms have a bath, but we didn't use them. Beds, the mattresses are very soft and could do with replacing. It's clear the owners care about the property so hopefully they'll replace the mattresses soon. Been to Wells-next-the-Sea a few times and would definitely stay in Casamaria again.

Birthdays to remember.

Casamaria is a beautiful house, so close to the town and the quay, and the beach. The great weather, for late October, meant that we were able to have a double birthday celebration that included a picnic on the beach, long walks with the dogs, discovering the walks in Holkham park and the playground there not to forget the crabbing activity on the quay. We had just the best long weekend, thank you.

Casamaria

This was the perfect property for a family get together with plenty of space for 3 adult couples and 2 dogs and lovely decor. The only negative was comfort of mattresses of all beds - very soft and creaky with master bedroom not even fitting full bed frame and sloped each side. Good beds do make such a difference otherwise would have marked 5. Location is superb, peaceful end of town with short walk to lovely shops and quay. Good eateries but advise to book these well in advance as we could not get into any during our stay as so busy.

Lovely holiday cottage

Lovely property, so much space and an excellent location in Wells. Parking was only tiny grumble, not sure if the parking outside the door is actually private or not but a couple of times we got back to have someone else in the space which is frustrating when that was something I wanted specifically, knowing how bad parking in Wells can be. Don't be put off though, overall lovely place and will hopefully return.

Great location but smells of dog and only 1 useable bathroom

Upstairs bathroom can only be used as a toilet, the bath takes forever to fill and is very shallow and under a low roof. The downstairs bathroom needs decorating where damp means paint has come off. Also the shower doesn't drain properly so you have to keep turning the water off to prevent overflowing. The location of the house is perfect for the town, although the beach takes approx 40mins to walk to. The house downstairs also smells of wet dog, especially in the lounge. Although it was cleaned very well throughout.

Lovely house in a great location

House wonderfully clean and welcoming. Comfortable furniture and beds. The only things we could find wrong was that there was no tin opener and the bath upstairs was not used as the water ran so slowly it would have taken half an hour to fill it with a couple of inches of water.
