There is also a cloakroom, bathroom, kitchen/diner, dining room and a first-floor sitting room with an electric woodburning-effect fire. Outside is your own private courtyard with furniture, and parking is offered via a permit in the nearby Willow Car Park. Polkirt Forge is a wonderful base for friends, families and couples seeking a waterfront retreat.

In close reach are the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project, or take a ferry trip from the village to Fowey for a truly scenic experience.
