A cosy studio that is perfect for a romantic break away. Spend a day exploring the city of Oxford or simply relax in the pub which is just next door!. All on the Ground Floor:

This attractive, well presented cosy, annexe, adjoining the owner’s home, is set on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds. This is is the perfect place to stay for couples, singles, business guests and those visiting friends and family in the area. You’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and during the warmer months you can enjoy sitting outside in the garden.
Set in the heart of the village of Long Hanborough in Oxfordshire, The Studio is next door to a friendly pub and within a 5-minute walk to the train station, where you can catch the train to Oxford in 7 minutes!
Blenheim Palace, Churchill’s birthplace, is within 2 miles and you can enjoy wandering the extensive grounds, visiting the palace or attending one of their many events throughout the year. You can also visit Churchill’s final resting place in the church grounds in nearby Bladon, the next village.
There are many beautiful circular walks from The Studio in the Glyme and Windrush Valley, and many lovely lakeside walks nearby. The village of Woodstock is 3 miles away and you can discover many independent shops, pubs and eateries. The charming market town of Witney is 8 miles and has an abundance of shops and restaurants catering for everyone. For shopaholics, no visit here is complete without a spree at nearby Bicester Village, which is a designer outlet.
The historic university city of Oxford is close by and can be accessed by train or the nearby park and ride. You’ll be astounded by the beautiful architecture, meandering river where you can hire a punt, and diverse shopping and eateries the city has to offer. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 10 yards.

A very enjoyable stay.
A very enjoyable stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful without being imposing.Wifi works well and is plenty for simple checking of emails, looking up things on the map et cetera - but it is not high speed so do not expect to stream high definition video.Lots of lovely walks in the area and the day trip by train into Oxford is very easy.Cooking facilities great for self catering.Pub next store has very nice food but check the menu on the web site first, especially if you have some dietary variations like we do.

Christmas lights
We were visiting the Christmas lights at Blenheim palace and decided to make a weekend of it and found the studio at Long Hanborough an ideal place to stay with it being so close and also with a railway station within walking distance to be able to get to Oxford for a visit. The studio contains everything you need for a short break and with the George and Dragon pub next door to top a wonderful weekend off
