Near the bastide town of Eymet, close to the castles of Bridoire and Monbazillac, just 20 minutes south of Bergerac and its airport (low cost flights from UK, Belgium, Holland).
Set on 3 acres of unspoiled, safe, & peaceful land, the property, full of charm & character, renovated in order to retain its original stone walls, beamed ceilings is furnished with elegance & comfort.
Modernized to high standards with the latest facilities, “La Tuilière” is suitable for family gatherings, anniversaries, celebrations, wine tasting parties or friends wanting to have fun...
It can accommodate up to 15 people: 8 bedrooms all en-suite (2 bedrooms with single beds, 4 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with Queen size bed and 1 with a double bed), an extra toilet near the living spaces, a large dining room, a living room, a fully equiped kitchen with ample counter space, a large hob and two ovens, and a utility room. Four bedrooms are on the ground floor and four on the first floor.
The property benefits from an 11 x 5 metre private heated swimming pool with terrace with a wonderful uninterrupted view over the countryside and vineyards, equiped with an immersion alarm for the safety of small children .
The house is rented with garden furniture, a charcoal barbecue, sun loungers, sun umbrellas and a parking area for 6 cars.
It is our main residence when not rented and is loved and cared for all year long. During their stay, our guests are alone on the property and take advantage of the house, garden, surroundings and all the amenities.
The property is normally rented Saturday to Saturday but do not hesitate to email us depending on your requirements. We might be able to make an exception.

The end of stay cleaning is included in our prices. We only ask that the house is tidied and items/furniture are returned where they were found. No need to strip the beds or move towels.
Please leave the last bin bags as they will used during our cleaning day. If you have any unwanted food left (opened or not), please leave them in the kitchen and we will dispose of it accordingly.
We will be at the property in the morning to work outside. If you decide to leave before 10 am, please let us know at your earliest convenience so that we can make sure to be present to say goodbye.

Claire & Kieran met whilst both working for a large cinema chain in England. Claire had moved to England from from France for work and ended up staying 10 years. They were married in 2016 and decided to make the move to France in 2017 with their young daughter. Having lived just outside London whilst in England, a move to a more rural area was favoured in which to raise their daughter. The Dordogne was an obvious choice as Claire had lived there previously from the age of 13 and her parents still reside there. There is also a large number of UK expats who in the area which makes it easier for Kieran as he struggles to improve his French
What makes this property unique
When we first viewed the property it hadn’t been lived in for over 2 years and hadn’t been properly maintained for nearly 10 years and so it was in a very run down state when we bought it, but we saw the potential to turn it into a beautiful & comfortable home for us, and somewhere fantastic for our guest to enjoy their holiday. All of the rooms were so spacious and their were some wonderful features such as the wooden beams and exposed stone walls. After 2 years of painstaking renovations we Have finally made it our home and are ready to offer it to guests wanting to have an enjoyable holiday in the Dordogne. The views from the house and garden are exceptional and due to the property being at the top of a gentle hill and with woods to the rear of the house, and no neighbours closer than 200metres away, the house & grounds have a very secluded & private feel, and yet within a minute you can be driving on the D933 with the bars, restaurants and shops of Eymet & Bergerac only 5 and 20 minute away respectively.
