Nice, quiet, basic studio suitable for short stays
Overall I was pleased with my experience. They accommodated my late check-out request, the location was great, and though fairly bare bones, it corresponded to most of my needs. Two things were lacking. First, the water never got hot, only warm, this despite complaining twice and someone supposedly coming to fix it. I didn't mind only warm water for showering since the weather was hot, but I never felt like the dishes got totally clean. Second, there were very few basic supplies that are typically found in such rentals. The only items provided were dishwashing liquid and toilet paper. No paper towels, sponges, tissues, hand soap, or extra trash bags. Otherwise it's great for a single person who plans to get out and make the most of their time in Paris.
Loved the location. Lots of cafes and small shops within walking distance. 20 minute walk to Moulin Rouge. 45 minute walk to the Louve. 2 subway entrances within a 5-7 minute walk. I arrived early and they let me check in early. Sheets were left in the fold up couch were dirty. But clean sheets in the closet. Shower and bathroom were small for my size. 5'11" 215 lbs. No shower curtain, so floor got quite wet. No toilet paper for 3 days. No fan for 4 days while almost 90° outside. I didnt cook at all during my 8 days there. But bed was quite comfortable for a pull out couch. Apartment would be small for anymore than 2 people i think. But I couldn't beat the price and it was during the Olympics. But had a great, relaxing time in Paris! Thank you.
The owner never responded when I asked someone to check the temp of the hot water. I reached out to the rental company several times. I had to involve Vrbo as well and the owner never fixed the hot water. The pictures of Vrbo are not the current pictures of the property. They just want your money. No paper towels, contract you sign is in French and no one helped me. The pillows were in the couch and I did not know until day 2. There are is wonderful and that is why it cost so much. The best is heavy and old. The pans and pans are very old and used. You get three rolls of toilet paper and that all. Don’t bring wife luggage, the elevator is small. There is not instruction book for the apartment and the shower is off the ground with no assistance. The 30 bus will take you to the Eiffel Tower. You can’t hang your clothes up and you can’t fold the bed up for 30 days. It’s too heavy.
