We had a great stay in this apartment in Monmarte. I stayed here with my two adult daughters (so 3 women) and we always felt very safe. The location is very convenient. We purchased metro passes and used the metro to access every area of the city that we wanted to see. The grocery store, other markets and cafes are within minutes of the front door so that was wonderful when we had a simple need! Host Isabelle Is very helpful and responsive and we had no problems or concerns.
Great apartment - very functional.
Fabulous location - near everything - markets, shops, restaurants, buses and metro. The host, Isabelle, met us and was lovely. Truly an excellent experience.
Although the metro station is very close, I took the #74 bus (at av. de Clichy) several times to/from Chatelet. It's less hectic than the very crowded #13 metro line, and I recommend it for getting to the RER train to CDG. Groceries/produce stands/pharmacy/patisseries/local restaurants right at the doorstep! The apartment is bright, with a lovely open view. Isabelle was accommodating. I enjoyed my stay. Merci, Isabelle. Et meilleurs voeux de la saison!
Nice Montmartre location. Close to bus stops and metro station. Isabelle is a great host. She met us at the apartment to show us around and answer any questions we may have had. Great little patio to sit on and enjoy the lights of the Eiffel Tower.
We enjoy our stay, everything was fine. The Communication with Isabelle was easy, she answered very quick and we had an easy Check in. We‘ll come back!
It was exactly as advertised. It was very spacious with separate bedroom to the lounge/ dining. Soundproof windows and block out blinds. Neighbourhood bustley and friendly with lots of bars and eateries nearby. It was very close to the metro and the buses were also outside the door. about a 20 minute walk to Monmatre - faster coming home (downhill).
we really enjoyed out stay
We stayed here for a mother-daughter trip to Paris. This apartment is beautiful and exactly as described. You can see the Eiffel Tower from the balcony, especially at night. The real gem is the owner, Isabelle, who was very communicative and helpful prior to check-in, and so charming when we met her at check-in. Isabelle provided many convenience items including a washing machine and drying rack in the apartment, a hair dryer and curling iron, some toiletries, and outlet converters. The Metro station is about a half-block from the apartment and there is a grocery store downstairs. Lots of fresh food markets around.
The ONLY negative I could find is that we were a bit concerned about walking in this neighborhood after dark; however, the apartment is in a building with 2 security doors so we felt very safe once inside the door.
We would definitely stay here again!
I have stayed in many really nice rental properties over the years but this one was the best. The location was super convenient.. fresh market and large grocery store just next door. Just steps to the Metro and bus. Two additional things make this apartment even more special..the balcony and view were spectacular ( you could even see the Eiffel Tower twinkle at night). The other and greatest feature was the host. She was easy to communicate with, flexible and accommodating and she has equipped the flat with absolutely everything you could need. I really felt at home. Merci pour tout!
My wife and I stayed for a week, from first impression to the last this place was great. It was very clean, well equipped and a fantastic location.
Everything you could need is within half a block, grocery stores, bakeries, butchers, wine and beer.
We were sorry we had to leave but are planning to return to Paris and would love to stay there again.
My partner and I had a great time at this Paris flat. It has a nice view from the 5th story with huge windows, large patio to enjoy a glass of wine on and the flat was very clean. The neighborhood is moderately busy during the day with cafés and shops and it is very easy to access the tourist locations using the metro. Checkin and checkout was seamless. Thank you for the stay!
When we booked this apartment via stayz, it was important the process was smooth…it was our first time booking with stayz, and our first time overseas! Isabelle has set the benchmark incredibly high for our future uses of stayz. Not only was she there to greet us, but she was there 90mins after we said we would be there!! Such a lovely lady and so welcoming and inviting and warm with a gift of hospitality. I highly recommend this as a base for your short or long term stay…we spent most of our time out and about, but arriving back here late afternoon each day was like getting home.
Isabelle…you’re a gem! Thankyou!
So the shower was small, so there was no clothes dryer, so there was no dishwasher. SO WHAT? There were SO many positives i'm not sure i can list them all. Metro and busses all very close, restaurants abound (you'd be hard pressed to find a bad one), patisseries, fromageries, a super market, pharmacy even a luggage repair shop. This is the REAL Paris. Nothing touristy about it.
And the people we encountered were SO helpful.
This apartment is in the middle of a ‘real’ Paris neighborhood - exactly what I wanted for my month in Paris. It is super secure, sunny, the bed is SO comfortable, and the water pressure is amazing! The view from the balcony is amazing - you can even see the top third of the Eiffle Tower! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need if you want to cook, sheets and towels are plentiful, the washing machine works very well and us fast! On the block are butcher shops, cheese shops, flowers, fresh fruit and veggies, a grocery store, a bank/ATM, restaurants, patisseries, etc. Easy walking distance to many landmarks (if you enjoy walking like I do) and there is a metro station at the end of the block. Isabelle was wonderful about answering questions. I highly recommend this apartment!!!
This is an attractive and functional apartment that is quite spacious by Paris standards. The windows are double pane and high quality so when closed the apartment was very quiet.
The kitchen works well for prepping simple meals and having a washing machine was really wonderful because I was there for 4 weeks.
The mattress is very firm but I got used to it after a few days.
I enjoyed viewing the Eiffel Tower (far away across town but still visible) from the balcony in the evening.
There is a large market downstairs and numerous specialty stores on the block including an award winning boulangerie with the best croissant I have ever tasted!
This is a working class neighborhood, not a tourist area, which I appreciate.
Public transportation is convenient with the Metro and two good bus lines at the corner. Because this is in the north of Paris I had to allow 45 minutes to get into the heart of Paris but since I have been here many times this was not a problem for me. I would be happy to stay in this apartment again.
This apartment is a little gem! The pictures do not do it justice as you walk in and see the views from the window for the first time. There is even a little view of the Eifel Tower. From the balcony every morning my husband and I would have breakfast and every night we would watch the Eiffel tower sparkle with some wine! I am going to miss Paris! Also, in the same block of the apartment you can find fruit and vegetable vendors, 2 bakeries, a creperie, a butcher, a fish market, and a full supermarket and pharmacy right downstairs. This is all without counting the countless restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. When you go here go check out "Pepone" Italian Restaurant in the same block. Also "Nawab" (Indian and "Zozan" (Kurdish) "Aux Des Cales" for French and Tomi for Japanese. All in the same neighborhood. This is not a touristy neighborhood. To go to the sights of Paris just walk to the end of the block and take the metro or bus. The apartment was just as described. There was always hot water. My husband had to work at times (we were here 4 weeks) and the WIFI was fast. He had no trouble with it ever. The kitchen is tiny but it has everything you need. The washing machine works perfectly. There is even a hair dryer- that I used occasionally. The TV has cable-at times we watched the Women World Cup on it. Since we were there in June and July we slept with the windows open and it can get noisy at night with the cars passing by. But on colder nights when we closed the windows it is quiet. I solved this problem by leaving the living room window open and closing the bedroom one. There is no a/c but none was needed as the apartment is in the 5th (6th) floor. There is always a breeze and the weather in Paris is always perfect! But there is a fan if you need it. Ah, when you come here visit the Basilica of St. Denis just about 5 or 6 metro stops north. It is more beautiful and educational than many of the other sights - less touristy and plenty of great places to eat or just drink coffee. Most French kings and queens are buried here! I think I have written too much but I know there are more great things that I am forgetting!! Isabelle was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The apartment is perfect and we really hope to come back to it and this awesome and lively neighborhood, Thank you Isabelle!
Stayed here for 9 days and had a great time. Isabelle was very accommodating with check-in and showed us around. There is a large grocery store located next door and the metro and bus stops are just down the block. The balcony had a nice view of the Eiffel Tower and the area.
