Spire Ridge

Great location for touring the Wye valley. Lots of spider webs in most rooms. The was great for relaxing in and for our dog to chill out in after a days outing. Could do with a little tlc inside and out but enjoyed our break.

Handsome house, well located except for nearby road

A very comfortable, handsome house, extremely well-equipped, and just outside Ross on Wye. The only downside is that one is adjacent to a fairly busy road; not a problem inside the house, which has excellent double-glazing. The owners were very quick to respond to a minor issue with the central heating. The wider location is fabulous: Ross is lovely, full of independent cafes and other shops; the Wye valley is stunning. Various walks one can do from the house, or just a short car drive away. Excellent nearby pub (The White Lion)
