This adorable very clean studio apartment in this vintage home built in 1875, it is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Golden, Colorado. This apartment has it's own entrance.
Queen size bed with pillow top sleeps 2 and includes a full bathroom with shower and bathtub, full kitchen, 43” Smart TV with Direct TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi, and a Window air conditioner unit. On the warm Colorado days sit outside on the private deck overlooking Golden. Within walking distance, 2 blocks away, from Historic Downtown Golden, which includes restaurants, parks, micro breweries including Coors and Colorado School of Mines. Across the street is Clear Creek, where you can kayaking or tube on those warm Golden days. You will be able to day trip to ski as it is only an hour and a half to a resort. Close to all other ski resorts and Red rocks Amphitheater. Catch the RTD right rail to downtown Denver within 15 minutes you can enjoy games such as the Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche, Outlaws or the Theater and night life. Enjoy a nightcap or a morning coffee under the Colorado sky while planning your new adventure for the day! Great Golden Location

This apartment gave us a great jumping off point to explore the area! Location is perfect with great walkability around Golden and easy access to interstates. Owner communicated extremely well. We'd look forward to staying again!

Another excellent week in Golden

After a stay at this property last Thanksgiving, we chose it again for a week this winter, and it didn't disappoint. The location is terrific, the place is well appointed and comfortable, and the host is top-notch. It's a little small for a longer stay, but for a week, it worked well, and we'll likely be back.

What a great find here on VRBO. Super convenient location to walk to town for anything. Betty was very nice and helpful during our stay. Parking is easy and included, unit has everything you may need. We enjoyed our time here and hope to come back and stay here real soon. Golden is beautiful!

Golden Colorado is such a cute city. Our VRBO was in walking distance of everything. We even had our own patio at the VRBO Our concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater was only 9 miles away.

Betty has thought of everything that you might need or want during your stay! The apartment, in an 1875 home, is charming and updated. The bed was super comfy and the tv was better than ours at home. Betty also has created a large and helpful binder with notes, lists, and pamphlets of things to do in Golden, Denver, and other parts of Colorado. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Yada house. Although a studio, it feels like a complete home. Very clean and the deck off the kitchen was a nice place to sit in the evening. We liked being able to walk to shops and restaurants. Clear Creek is right across the street so we went over and watched kayakers and swimmers around the small rapids. Thanks, Betty, you may just see us again the next time we're in Golden!

We loved our stay in this lovely cottage! We had the upper unit, which worked perfect for us! A great little balcony to sit outside with our coffee every morning and walking distance to everything in Golden! Betty (owner) was very helpful and responded to questions we had before our arrival quickly. The house was very clean, updated bathroom, and well stocked; she thought of so many little details! When we return to Golden this will be our first choice!

Excellent Home Away from Home!

We absolutely loved staying in Betty's studio apartment. It's got everything you need and more for a weekend stay in Golden! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the cute little balcony/patio in the morning to take in the views while drinking coffee. :-) The apartment is a couple of blocks from downtown Golden and only a short drive to Lookout Mountain and Red Rocks theater. We couldn't be any happier with our first-time trip to this charming town. We highly recommend Betty's place and will definitely stay here again next time we are in town. Thanks, Betty!!

Lovely studio in a great location

We stayed for a week in this lovely studio. The good: Location! Plus a very comfy bed and super well-stocked kitchen and bath. The less good: No dishwasher (but that's clear in the description, so it's not a surprise) and the little notes all over the place with instructions. I get why they are there, but I'd rather have a booklet of instructions. Maybe just me. I also would have liked to just get the door code ahead instead of needing to have Betty walk me through the place, but it wasn't bad - just a preference. Betty was a great host and even dropped off homemade cinnamon rolls on Thanksgiving! I'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect studio apartment!!

This little space is just right for two, we stayed four nights, walked to the Toad,had great bear! Walked downtown, it’s really cute! Betty meets you at the door gives you details about her space and gives you the key. The place is very clean,good little kitchen, lots and lots of very hot water,if you need high speed internet for any reason,you may want to speed with Betty about her WiFi. We used our t-mobile hot spot and it was fine. Betty does like lots of air freshener so there quite an order as you enter the vestibule of her building but the little studio was fine once we disabled the one plug in air freshener! We both have problems with heavy sents and we were fine.

Home away from home!!

I was traveling for work and was lucky enough to stumble upon this little gem. So cozy and charming. Very clean, comfortable, and recently renovated! Betty was a terrific host. She took time to show me around the place and answered any questions i had. She had even made me lemonade! She checked in with me throughout my stay to make sure I had everything I needed. I felt like I was staying at a family members place! The bed was so comfortable and the TV was bigger than mine at home! The kitchen had everything you could ever need. It's walking distance to everything too. So many good restaurants, cafes, breweries, shops, etc. only blocks away! The private deck featured great views. The bathroom was bright, fresh, and clean. If I am ever in town again, I know exactly where I will be staying!!! Thanks again for everything Betty! It was a pleasure.

Mini home away from home!

With this being the first trip in a long time that wasn’t to visit family, I was so wonderfully surprised. Not only is Betty warm and gracious giving the “tour” but she has made sure you have all you need *and* all you might want. Numerous times I thought, “I wonder if there is a ______” and sure enough there was! I was concerned before arrival with the location being across from the fire station. Alay YOUR concerns. They are very considerate, not blowing the sirens as they pull out. The location is within walking distance of everything, parking isn’t a problem, and if you want to see sights access to other towns thois location is VERY central. I cannot recommend this place more highly. Thank you Betty for making my vacation so wonderful with all your attention to detail. PS: The HUGE binder with all the local info was AMAZINGLY helpful too!

Great stay!

Betty’s place was great! It was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stays d would stay there again. String shower, complete kitchen and comfortable bed. I also really liked the location. It’s very close to the center of Golden, right off of Washington Avenue. It’s also close to the library and the walking trail along Clear Creek. Overall, it’s a great location in a great place. Betty was very helpful and friendly and I recommend staying at her place.

I grew up in Golden and raised my children here as well. I love Golden it is a great little city. Have worked in Golden and surrounding areas. Have volunteered at the Chamber and Visitors Center, Golden Fine Arts Festival for 8 years, and on the Golden Liquor board for 4 years. I am available to answer any questions and be of help when you need it.

Why they chose this property

I love this old Victorian home of mine and being in the heart of downtown Golden. That is why I have been here for 30 years. I love meeting all the guests that come to stay here. You really don't need a car with restaurants, micro brewery's, shopping so close. This is the perfect location. There is something going on all the time in Golden. It is nice to have Clear Creek across the street and Red Rocks 10 minutes away. I have many great memories of the concerts there. This is a great place to stay and make day trips to Skiing and Snowboarding as it is just 30 minutes away. Denver sites and sporting events are 10 minutes away. This is the perfect place to be.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with my home as it has so much character! It is the great touches to when it was built in 1875. I like that it is unique and comfortable.
